• A Call For Federal Court Stay
Veterans March announced that a call of action has been activated to bring awareness and to seek justice in the Potter V. Homes case in Waldron, Scott County, Arkansas. Jane Westbrook, vice president of Veterans March stated that the call of action is necessary due to the actions of Judge David H. McCormick Judge David H. McCormick, 15th Judicial Circuit, Division 2, against a 89 year old Korean War Veteran who served in the Marine Corps and Army.  The judge has never served his country in the military service and has shown disrespect towards veterans in other matters. "The case is a miscarriage of justice and a directed harm against all veterans who fought for our rights and freedom.  When a judge is aware of forgery and fraud in the case and a active federal investigation and for the judge to refused to allow the evidence to be admitted case a dark cloud upon the integrity of our judicial system." Veterans March is demanding that the United States Department of Justice seek a federal court order to stay the orders of Judge McCormick until the federal investigation of forgery and fraud has been completed.  The judge has set a date of April 20, 2019 as the date to auction all property belonging to Fred Potter, (JusticeForFredPotter.com}.  Not to do so will cause irreparable harm and a continuance of fraud upon the court. Federal court stays are rarely done against a state court.  However, there is president, case history, and supreme court rulings that allow such action. Furthermore, Veterans March is calling for veterans to rally around the country in support of the action and to show support for Fred Potter.  In Arkansas plans are underway for the "Arkansas Walk For Veteran Justice" coordinated by veterans organization: Veterans Walk in Solidarity. Read the McCormick Report: https://justiceforfredpotter.com/investigation-reveals-serious-violations-by-judge-david-h-mccormick Veterans March is also encouraging that citizens in Arkansas to contact Kyra E. Jenner, Assistant U.S. Attorney, Western District of Arkansas to demand that their office file for a federal court stay in this case.  They want everyone to mention that she has president for seeking the stay a since she is conducting a federal investigation and with the auction set for April 20, 2019 irreparable harm will be forthwith. • June 3, 2019 Nationwide Protests of Trump's Power Grab
Democracy is dying. It died a little on 6/3/17 when Trump's administration jailed Reality Winner using the Espionage Act denying her a fair trial. She had turned over evidence to the news media showing Russia was hacking into our voting machines. Trump was lying at the time saying "no Russian Interference.

  • Stop Poaching the Elephants!!!
80% of herds are lost in some regions due to poachers trying to kill them and scaring them off from their family. This is concerning because of the alarming rate of extinction for this species. No species should endure the capture and torment these elephants go through.

  • Democrats NEED To Play Hardball
The time has come for the Democrats to PLAY HARDBALL. Donald Trump and his administration are ignoring the rule of law. It IS time to issue subpoenas. It's time to tell the Sergeant at Arms to take Mnuchin and others who refuse to comply into custody. Congress HAS the inherent power to deal with contempt and it is time to EXERCISE THE POWER. We the people are TIRED of their stalling, blocking, and arrogance.

  • Calling on Special Counsel Robert Mueller to release his full unredacted Report to the House of R...
I, like other concerned Americans, believe that the Attorney General appointed by Trump, AG William Barr, isn't representing the American People properly and with political bias that has jaded his decision making abilities to the point of being totally partisan.

  • No cover-up -- We must see Trump’s tax returns
Earlier this week, acting White House chief of staff Mick Mulvaney said that the American people will “never” see President Trump's tax returns. This threat puts the very foundation of our democracy in danger. We deserve to know about the President’s background, experience, and business interests. Trump conducts the people’s business from the highest office in the land -- so we should be able to see how he has conducted his private business, too. Trump broke with decades of bipartisan precedent by refusing to release his tax returns during his presidential run (and refusing to place his assets in a blind trust after winning). Since then, evidence of how Trump and his family have personally profited from the presidency keeps piling up. If Congress lets Trump conceal his tax returns, Americans will remain completely in the dark about his potential conflicts of interest and ties (or whether he paid taxes at all). Transparency and accountability should not be partisan issues. Congress must use its power to obtain several years of Trump’s tax returns -- and shed light on the President’s financial dealings.

  • Governor Pritzker Stand Up to Violence
Acts of violence are terrorizing communities throughout Illinois. Children are being murdered and traumatized, without any support or constructive outlet. The hurt, pain, and tears of victims, families, and the community have been ignored for far too long. Protecting human lives should be the number one priority of this administration, and this is why Illinois desperately needs a Violence Prevention Commission immediately.

  • Tell ALEC Corporations: Hands OFF our democracy
An alarming new study gives an inside look into how big corporations are manipulating our democracy -- and how right-wing lawmakers rubber-stamp laws written by front groups like the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC). ALEC writes “model bills” that roll back the rights you and I care about -- like gun safety, access to affordable healthcare, a clean environment, and more. Then, state lawmakers introduce them almost word-for-word as real legislation that often becomes law -- making our communities less safe and enriching ALEC’s corporate donors at our expense. Worst of all, these “model bills” are written by corporate lobbyists behind closed doors. ALEC doesn’t want you and me to know that they’re undermining our democracy, giving power to wealthy donors, and stripping us of our rights -- so they wield their influence in secret. ALEC is funded by a collection of big-name corporations like UPS, Comcast, and Anheuser-Busch. We must hold these corporations accountable for the dangerous tactics they’re funding -- and EXPOSE the harm ALEC is doing to our democracy. Over the last few years, we’ve pushed over 100 major companies to cut ties with ALEC due to its extreme agenda and anti-democracy tactics -- and we need to keep the public outcry going. Add your name to put pressure on these corporations to STOP funding ALEC’s schemes.

  • It’s Time to Act Against Illinois' Coal Ash Problem
Illinois is one of the states most impacted by coal ash waste and pollution; we face a growing crisis that is threatening our groundwater, rivers and lakes, health, and property values. Inadequate federal and state coal ash standards have left Illinois largely unprotected. Even though coal ash is tainted with mercury, lead, arsenic and other heavy metals that are linked to cancer, nervous system damage, cardiovascular problems, and developmental disorders, it continues to be dumped in dozens of leaking ponds and landfills across the state. We have repeated reports of ongoing groundwater contamination at the majority of coal ash dumps in Illinois, including visible leaching of toxic coal ash directly into Illinois’ only National Scenic River, the Vermilion. Illinois residents and taxpayers deserve clean, safe water and air and we refuse to allow out-of-state corporations to leave us with pollution and clean-up costs. The Illinois legislature should immediately pass comprehensive legislation that 1) PROTECTS ILLINOIS COMMUNITIES by stopping ongoing groundwater contamination and requires dry handling and disposal of coal ash; 2) GIVES CITIZENS A VOICE: access to coal ash information in their communities and meaningful participation in decisions about how coal ash will be handled locally; and 3) A GUARANTEE that holds polluters accountable for the cost and clean-up of their coal ash mess so that taxpayers aren’t left with the bill.
