  • Unban Nolan
Nolan was banned from Reckless because of his toxicity towards, moderators and other staff members, these people who were 'harassed' were constructively criticized about the things they did not try to fix, such as incorrectness is the time period's standards, clothing of other players, and all-out inability to understand the genre as a whole, he was also banned for using bots in the discord and speaking in the wrong channels, where the only people who complained about it was one or two staff members, the community the people who are the most important part of the game were not affected nor phased by what he did. He was permanently banned because of these reasons and many people including Alexa_Kochh, partypat552, exempium (cephalea, former high ranking social and moderator), and others have disagreed with the ban calling it 'stupid' and 'unnecessary'

  • Stop Ethnic Cleansing of Harari People in Ethiopia
This petition is to seek relief for the ancient and historic city of Harar, located in Eastern Ethiopia, and its residents who are under unprecedented siege. The citizens are being systematically persecuted, as they are forcefully removed from their homes and businesses; beaten, and even killed by some elements of the majority Oromo fringe group known as (Queerro), whose mob style intimidation won’t be stopped by the weak regional government and alas ignored by the Federal government. The Federal government is not upholding its solemn duty of protecting minorities and the desperate cries of the Harari people for help have fallen on deaf ears. The population of Harar is denied access to clean water and garbage disposal. Furthermore, the lawless mob is Hararis are beaten by thugs in clear daylight, while the hapless local police or Federal forces stand by and refuse to intercede and protect human rights and property rights of Harari citizens. The region is mired in a lawless atmosphere whereby some Oromo squatters lay claim to land and property belonging to Hararis, by forcefully occupying residential properties, schools, businesses, roads and public parks. This must not stand!! We, Hararis residing in California hereby appeal to our senators, asking them to intercede and issue a stern warning and convey our concerns to US Department of State, the Federal Government of Ethiopia, and the US Embassy in Ethiopia.

  • Rep. Tulsi Gabbard(D-Hawaii) for Speaker of the House.
Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi, well known for her support of legislation that benefits her Corporate donors, and her opposition to legislation that would benefit the working class, such as Medicare for All, has made it clear that if elected Speaker of the House, she will support her "Pay Go" legislation, by which the only Congressional laws that will pass and become Appropriation Bills for the Public Purpose are those that have already been budgeted for. This would cripple most of the progressive agenda as it was just proposed by Senator Bernie Sanders. It also reveals an appalling lack of knowledge about how our Fiscal Government, possesor of a Sovereign, Fiat currency, can and does issue through the Fed, "de novo", the money appropriated by Congress. Therefore her whole argument for Pay Go as a way to avoid larger deficits is totally baseless. The truth is, whenever trillions of dollars are needed to fund the Pentagon's requests for ever more expensive weapons, or to subsidize the 0.1% richest americans thru massive tax breaks, no one in Congress ever objects. But if the money is needed to fund Medicare For All, stronger social safety net, free public college education, a needed transition to clean energy or infrastructure repairs, a chorus of voices claims there is no money for that. This is why we strongly oppose Rep. Pelosi and support instead Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, a consistent and clear voice in support of progressive causes for the benefit of all Americans, the Working Class and our Environment, to be the next Speaker of the House of Representatives,

  • Demand Hate Crime Bill in Indiana
Indiana is currently one of only five states in the United States that do not protect its residents against hate crimes. A hate crime is a prejudice-motivated crime committed by a perpetrator against a person or persons based on race, religious affiliation, gender preference or gender identity. In addition to psychological distress and/or physical injury or material damages sustained by the victim, a hate crime conveys a message of intimidation, hatred, and terror to the entire group. As a result, members frequently feel isolated and vulnerable. Hate crimes can also lead to factionalism or divisions within communities. It’s no secret that in recent years, extremists have been emboldened, and Abigail Hauslohner of the Washington Post states, “Hate crimes in the nation’s 10 largest cities increased by 12 percent last year, reaching the highest level in more than a decade, according to a report released [in May] by the Center for the Study of Hate and Extremism at California State University at San Bernardino.” For this reason, it is urgent that a hate crime (or bias-crimes) bill with aggravated penalties be introduced and voted into law in Indiana. Indiana legislators need to know now that you want groups targeted for hate crimes to be protected from violence by law! Please sign the petition to urge that state representatives act immediately to introduce hate crime legislation that includes aggravated penalties to Congress and work to their utmost ability to get said bill passed into law.

  • Jackson's Law: Legislation to Allow Private Schools at Home to Participate on Public School Sport...
Resolved, that House Bill 290 does not meet the needs of all Kentucky families that are conducting private schools at home, and Resolved, that House Bill 290 does not carry the spirit of House Bills 99, originally sponsored by Representative Stan Lee, which would have afforded the possibility of participation to all Kentucky students, and Resolved, that the House Education Committee passed House Bill 290 without consideration for families that live in rural and underprivileged areas, which lack sports leagues through which families conducting private schools at home could participate, and WE HUMBLY PETITION THE HOUSE EDUCATION COMMITTEE TO CONSIDER THE PASSAGE OF a bill that will give Kentucky families conducting private schools at home the opportunity for participation in public school sports programs, a bill that will balance participation with appropriate oversight which is not unnecessarily intrusive. We petition for the following, which for the purpose of submission is colloquially referred to as “Jackson’s Law.” SECTION 1. A NEW SECTION OF KRS STATUTES IS CREATED TO READ AS FOLLOWS: (1) A student of a private school at home is eligible to participate in an extracurricular sports activity, interscholastic or otherwise, sponsored by or engaged in by the public school to which the student would be assigned according to district school board attendance policies or which the student could choose to attend pursuant to district open enrollment provisions. A student eligible under this section who wishes to participate in an extracurricular sports activity shall: (a) Pay any participation or activity fee in an amount equal to the out-of-pocket fees charged to public school participants; (b) Adhere to the same standards of behavior, responsibility, tryouts, performance, and code of conduct as any other participants in the extracurricular sports activity; (c) Adhere to the same academic standards as other participants, as verified in a written and signed letter by the parent, guardian, or teacher who oversees the private school at home; (d) By written letter express to the public school principal his or her intent to participate in an extracurricular sports activity as a representative of the public school before the beginning date of the semester for the activity in which he or she wishes to participate; and (e) Comply with the same physical examination, immunizations (whether by record or by exemption), insurance, age, and semester eligibility requirements as other students participating in the extracurricular sports activity. (2) A parent, guardian, or teacher of a student of a private school at home participating in an extracurricular sports activity at a public school shall provide the principal of the school a written letter, at the same interval of scholarship reporting required by students enrolled at said school, signifying that the student is meeting the same academic requirements of the public school’s student athletes participating on the extracurricular sports team. No other scholarship reporting shall be required. (3) If a student enrolled in public school fails to meet the public school's required academic standards, withdraws from the public school, and enrolls in a private school at home, the student shall be ineligible to participate in any extracurricular sports activity at the public school for the next two standard scholarship reporting intervals. If the student was participating on a public school sports team at the time of withdrawal, the student will be ineligible to continue participating for the next two standard scholarship reporting intervals. Additionally, in order to be eligible to participate in any public school sports extracurricular activities for the remainder of the year, the parent, guardian, or teacher of a student of a private school at home must submit a letter pursuant to section (2) requirements as previously stated. (4) Transportation of a student of a private school at home to the public school to participate in an extracurricular sports activity is the responsibility of the parent, guardian, or student. The student may use the same transportation as other students if additional expenses are not incurred by the district. (5) A public school shall not discriminate against a student in a private school at home who is eligible under this section in the selection of extracurricular sports team members. (6) A public school team or group shall not be impeded from competing against any other public school team or group solely because the public school team or group includes students eligible under this section. (7) Kentucky High School Athletic Association (KHSAA) shall make no rule or regulation which discriminates against private school at home students, or which will prevent private school at home students from participating on public school sports teams, whether directly or indirectly. The “plain language” text of this bill proposal appears at the top of every petition signature page, and is stated here: Jackson’s Law will write into Kentucky legislation the right of private school students at home to participate in public school sports programs, without additional, unnecessary oversight by the school district. Students wishing to participate would be required to meet all the same physical and academic standards as public school students, and a simple letter written by the parent or guardian of the student which states the student is meeting the same academic standards as the other student athletes enrolled at the public school is all that would be required for record submission. This letter by the parent or guardian would be submitted to the principal at the public school where the student is eligible to play at regular report-card intervals (nine-week intervals in most Kentucky schools) during the semester the student wishes to play. Private school at home students will not be discriminated against for participation by coaches or schoo...

  • Reunite the separated immigrant children
Wrenching these children from their parents was an incredible travesty in the first place. To let the anguish continue is no doubt causing deep trauma (especially to the children) that could become permanent if not immediately and effectively addressed. If their reunification is delayed any longer, perhaps those responsible should be held in contempt of court and dealt with accordingly.
