Students have to go to school five days week, not including the ones that come on weekends and stay after school for long periods of time because of clubs and other activities that are essential for getting into college. All they want to do is come home and relax, maybe study for upcoming tests, which is not considered homework. We shouldn't cut homework all together, but we need to drastically decrease the amount of homework students are given. Homework doesn't help them as much as teachers think it does, it just causes stress. Teachers should be worrying about what they do in school, not out of school. As a student, I've had homework that has taken me hours, and it only stresses me out. Stressed out students do not perform well in class or in tests.

Whales are honestly adorable. I am 13 years old and in social studies class, we are learning about how colonial Americans used to hunt whales for their oils. Whales are a precious creature, and people do want their goods, I understand, but how would you like it if you were killed for your hair, skin, body parts or clothes/money? Doesn't feel good right?
