ODOT: Add a new access point on State Route 57 north of Chestnut RidgeThe State Route 57 and Chestnut Ridge intersection has been a problem ever since Walmart was built. The traffic congestion is always bad and it gets really severe during peak shopping times. With more business planned east and south of the intersection, it is only going to get worse. ODOT needs to take the lead on fixing this horrible situation.1,258 of 2,000 SignaturesCreated by Jeff Baxter

Tell the Sanpete County District Attorney: Compassion is not a crime!Following an investigation released last November which garnered national media attention, six activists with Direct Action Everywhere now face ten years in prison. Sanpete County, Utah County District Attorney Kevin Daniels filed felony burglary and theft charges Thursday, claiming, “They came here to Sanpete County and entered into turkey shed buildings belonging to turkey farmers in this area and essentially turkey-napped turkeys.” Taking sick animals to the vet isn’t burglary, it isn’t a felony, or “turkey-napping”--it’s what any decent person would do. The industry isn’t concerned about a missing injured bird, who they would’ve thrown in the trash like they do millions of others every year. They’re concerned about exposure. They know that when ordinary people see animals being hurt, they’re outraged. And that outrage is bad for their bottom line. We demand that Mr. Daniels represent the interests of ordinary, compassionate people, not violent corporations. That whistleblowers and animal rescuers be respected and protected, not repressed and prosecuted. Compassion is not a crime!5,381 of 6,000 SignaturesCreated by Direct Action Everywhere

Sen. Feinstein must attend the candidate forum before the primarySenator Feinstein has not even held a town hall this year. We need our representatives to model transparency, accountability, and inclusivity, which are the foundations of democracy. This forum will give all Californians a chance to tell which Senate candidate will represent them best.43 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Alex Kane

Tell John P. DiGiovanni to give EMF artists adequate time before evictionCambridge has recently lost two vital music spaces in Central Square, this includes Out of the Blue Art Gallery and Mobius. Adding the EMF building to this list would be deeply troubling to the community. Tell John P. DiGiovanni to please allow the tenants at 110-120 Brookline St. 5 months to arrange suitable locations for our displaced businesses and artists. There are insufficient vacant rehearsal spaces in Cambridge and the surrounding areas. A mere 30 days to re-home over 100 artists and businesses is just not adequate. There are multiple recording studios in the building that have invested significant funds in infrastructure over the years. These establishments will be hemorrhaging money if they are forced to close their doors prematurely. We hope you can appreciate the difficulties of running a small business, particularly one in the music industry. Sincerely, The Undersigned EMF Community193 of 200 SignaturesCreated by Zaza Shamsedin

Public Dog Park in Columbia, SCColumbia is home to so many dogs who do not get the opportunity to run free in an off leash dog park. This is because of the parks in Columbia, none of them are very nice and the only public dog park is said to be infected with poison ivy.43 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Kayla Reese

City Of Duluth: We need to talk about the Husky Energy ExplosionOn April 27th at the Husky Energy Refinery in Superior, a series of explosions and fires put the citizens of Superior and surrounding communities at great risk of being exposed to toxic substances, including the possibility of releasing a stored fluoride chemical into the atmosphere in a high enough volume that it could kill over 100,000 people, according to estimates by scientists. In the wake of this event, the Mayors of Duluth and Superior called for the discontinuation of the use of Fluoride at that facility. I am hoping this petition can help inspire our elected officials and our community as a whole to use resources to have a real conversation about the dangers posed to our community by fossil fuel infrastructures such as pipelines and refineries.66 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Jesse Peterson

Fighting For Our Community! We, as the people who have all in some way been affected by the past storm Matthew, know that we have yet to recover. We are all from the Columbus County area in some way, shape, or form. We know that currently the Town of Fair Bluff, NC has been devastated by the flood and has left what little the town has to ruins. Our youth (our future) has been left with nothing to be a part of....just something positive for them to be a part of so that their minds can focus on growing instead of mischief. We are a Non-Profit Organization designed to bring families together in the most peaceful way... LOVE. We currently have two youth basketball teams and a youth Kickball Team, which we have already started a kickball league in the area. Our main goal is to bring back the smiles and joy that you get when surrounded by family and loved ones. We always guarantee to provide a safe environment at all of our events, and this being our third year we have yet to have any incidents. We are currently fighting to be able to gain access to the basketball gym in Fair Bluff, NC, and right now it's not looking good. As you know, we have already had two SUCCESSFUL basketball tournaments there in the past two months. I am afraid that the Board Of Education is now trying to take that from us, stating the gym they have been using is no longer up to par for the public. We have contractors on standby and many other volunteers who are willing to do whatever work is necessary to address whatever the issues may be. This is an attempt to get your support and help us bring excitement back to our community, so will you stand with us?40 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Jeremiah Shipman
