In Florida, another school became a killing field. Lamar Smith has accepted thousands of dollars from the NRA. He needs to repudiate their putting profits above the well-being of our nations children and citizens. Tell Lamar Smith to give back the money he received from the NRA.

This is unnecessasry legislation and will inflame tensions between religions, ethnicities, and races. It will increase the possibility of unnecessary death and injury without due process.

Less than two months into 2018 there have been at least 18 school shootings. How can we put a stop to this violence when our representatives take money from the gun lobby and refuse to support gun regulation? We cannot allow one more child to die at the hands of the NRA, and we cannot allow our Congress members to be paid for their silence.

We have to stop our elected officials from taking money from the NRA! We need them to work for us "The People", not for the powerful gun lobbyists.

I am angry that my high school student is now actively fearful that he can be harmed while attending school. Our elected representatives refuse to enact common sense gun laws that will protect our children from harm.

I'm heartbroken and outraged about the school shooting in Parkland, FL. Why can't Congress get it together to pass common-sense gun legislation? For example, assault rifles such as the one used in the shooting today should be outlawed. Refusing to accept donations from the NRA would be a first step in this direction.

The answer to a "bad guy" with a gun is NOT a "good guy" with a gun. We DESPERATELY need GUN CONTROL!! For the sake of our MOST PRECIOUS commodity......our children!!!!

The NRA should NOT be buying legislation in the US Congress. The people of the US have had enough of the senseless shootings when the majority of the people want common sense gun legislation. The NRA, with its massive donations, continues to influence congress on gun legislation.
