Recreational Marijuana in OhioThere have been millions of people who have been to ERs or doctor's appointments and have received a prescription for narcotics or other drugs that are supposed to help the pain or whatever the case may be. But than you have side affects and massive liver damage. I am a frequent marijuana user and they help from headaches to back pain to being sick from flu to having anxiety issues. We need recreation for Ohio because I live in a small county called Brown County and I find that this would solve the pain pill epidemic and the heroin and methamphetamine issues. Even if we don't have dry herbs, the liquid and the edibles and oils will significantly make a difference.15 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Derrick proffitt

Demand that the ACAAI Remove False Statement Re: Cornstarch/High Fructose Corn SyrupI am personally allergic to corn and can attest to the fact that cornstarch and high fructose corn syrup cause me to experience a severe allergic reaction; therefore, their statement is false, misleading, and endangers the lives of the corn allergy population. Many other published articles confirm that removing a food protein does not guarantee that an allergen is rendered hypoallergenic.389 of 400 SignaturesCreated by Diane Hugunin

Audio book lovers unite to save RB Digital in LexingtonI listen to audio books every day because my poor vision makes reading regular books challenging. Our library is making the wrong decision to end the RB digital audiobook service in favor of the Overdrive audiobook service. The RB digital service has over 6,252 titles to choose from whereas this new service has only 393 titles. I know that many audiobook lovers such as myself will be negatively affected by this change and the library needs to reverse its decision.43 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Bonnie Potter

GCEC Service LimitationsWithout choice of providers, the citizens of Anna are being taken for a ride when it comes to electric service. A large majority of residents of Anna who have GCEC as the electricity provider have seen huge increases in bills in the last few months that cannot be attributed to colder temperatures. I, for example, have seen my bill jump more than $400 over a 2 month period. Without choice, this will only continue. Make your voice heard!316 of 400 SignaturesCreated by Patti Lewis

Tell Governor Wolf: Stop the Mariner East 2 Pipeline!Governor Wolf just allowed construction on the Mariner East 2 pipeline to resume. The Mariner East 2 is an extremely dangerous project, one that puts communities across the commonwealth at risk. It would transport highly volatile liquids -- leaks or explosions would be catastrophic for communities -- and yet a health and safety assessment has never been conducted by the state. While most new pipelines in Pennsylvania transport natural gas, the Mariner East 2 would transport highly combustible ethane, butane, and propane. Because the Mariner East 2 would move these products under high pressurization, any leak could be disastrous. This pipeline should never have been allowed in the first place. Tell Governor Wolf that construction must be halted immediately.41 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Miranda Carter, Food & Water Watch

I Want a Fracking Ban in FloridaIn states across the country, fracking for oil and gas has led to drinking water contamination, toxic air pollution, and serious health impacts. If Florida were to allow this new, more invasive drilling in our state, we'd be putting our groundwater and our public health at risk. That's why 90 communities, including 30 counties, have passed local measures against fracking. But to truly protect our beautiful state, we need a statewide ban. It's time the Legislature listened to the people of Florida and got the job done. A bill that would ban fracking in the Sunshine State has strong support in the Senate, but we need House members to act now too! Floridians deserve better than fracking. Demand that your legislators pass the fracking ban bill (HB 237/SB 462) in 2018.1 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Miranda Carter, Food & Water Watch

Don't Risk Another Financial CrisisS. 2155, which is moving quickly in the Senate, takes aim at Dodd-Frank protections for consumers, and guts regulators' ability to monitor big banks in order to prevent another financial meltdown. S. 2155 also puts consumers at greater risk of predatory lending and weakens other important safeguards passed since the last crisis. It would cut risk management requirements for 25 of the biggest banks in the country -- banks that took tens of billions in bailout funds during the 2008 financial meltdown, including banks like Suntrust and BB&T. The banking industry is showing record levels of revenues and profits. Congress should be focused on addressing real problems that ordinary Americans have with medical debt, student debt, and data security, not boosting bank profits further.2,808 of 3,000 SignaturesCreated by Americans for Financial Reform

No way! No Tolls!Every working American and student is impacted by the financial slow bleed of a new array of toll roads. Privatizing toll roads we do not want or need will siphon off the tax benefit in private pockets. Let's all ask Congress to pass a budget that does not include such underhanded and ineffective methods.28 of 100 SignaturesCreated by George Reed
