All elephants must be protected. In just three years 100,000 elephants have been killed by poachers. Bringing elephant heads into the United States must be outlawed.

As a father, husband, brother and uncle, I am outraged that a US Senator would behave in this manner. His BS apology ("I don't remember it that way") is totally unacceptable. As a member of the Hollywood Elite, he is another in a long line of perverts who have tried to force themselves on unwilling innocent women. Lets all take a stand and demand his removal from the Senate. He does not deserve our trust, nor should he be collecting a salary paid for by honest citizens.

On December 14, 2012, a gunman with mental illness killed his mother in her bed then he drove down to the Sandy Hook Elementary School to brutally murder 20 innocent children and six educators with an AR-15 with high capacity magazines. Congress has only offered up thoughts and prayers and it has failed to take action. Therefore, during the anniversary month of the tragic shooting, the volunteer advocates from the Newtown Action Alliance have traveled to Washington D.C. to meet with Congress and to hand-deliver coalition letters asking Congress to take action to #EndGunViolence in America. Once again, we will be joined by nearly 100 families and survivors directly impacted by gun violence from cities and towns across America on December 6th and 7th. Together, we will meet with Congress and hand-deliver our coalition letters to every Member of Congress. This year, we invite all Americans to #HonorWithAction by signing onto our coalition letters to Congress. Together, we can #DemandAction to #EndGunViolence in America.

March 5, 2018 update: Despite Trump tweeting in November that he would be "very hard pressed to change my mind that this horror show in any way helps conservation of Elephants or any other animal" his administration went ahead and did it anyway. They are now willing to review applications to bring slaughtered elephants into the United States. Let's keep up the pressure! ------------- The Department of Interior announced that they would end a ban on the importation of the remains of elephants hunted in Zimbabwe and Zambia. This action will encourage more killing of these already threatened animals. In 2015, the Obama administration determined that Zimbabwe could not demonstrate how hunting elephants would enhance this species survival. Zimbabwe's elephant population has declined six percent in less than two decades. Reversing the ban now is outrageous and inexplicable. Please reverse this decision and leave the ban in place.

On top of confronting a massive public debt, Puerto Rico is struggling to recover from Hurricane Maria. The island needs a clean slate - zero debt - to rebuild and recover, ensuring all Puerto Rican families can live with dignity and access vital services, like electricity, hospitals, and schools.

Not only am I personally affected by this bill, but many students who are trying to become something for the future of this country will also be affected. We need to protect families and the future of this country.

The Anne Arundel County Public Schools (AACPS) did not provide the affected communities with a public hearing to obtain their input on this egregious AACPS policy.

My husband Fredrick Cato is one of the many of us who suffer from addiction. Because of his criminal background, one mistake he made will put him behind bars for the rest of his life. My family and his are greatly affected and BEG for a fair sentence- not because we feel he should not be punished but because we do not feel he deserves to die in prison.

Hannity attacks the Mueller investigation, FBI, and Department of Justice because they are looking into potential criminal activity by Trump's campaign, his business, and personal lawyer Michael Cohen. Yet Hannity did not disclose this obvious conflict of interest until a judge demanded to know why Trump's lawyer was hiding Hannity's identity. Hannity serves as a special mouthpiece for the Trump agenda, and it's reasonable to assume he may have been getting talking points and segment ideas right from the Trump team. Is it any surprise Trump so frequently promotes Hannity and Fox News? A few years ago someone I know and love, an avid Hannity fan, raised her arm in a fist and mimicked a punch just short of my head, when I dared mention that Fox represented "opinions about facts" rather than news itself. According to my Facebook experience, this is not an uncommon difficulty inserting itself these days into families and loved ones' interactions. For all the talk of 'fake news' and America First it really is remarkable how Hannity uses his show to attack award-winning members of the media, defend accused child molesters like Roy Moore, and push conspiracy theories. Fox News will probably never be my preferred source of news, but they will gain some public trust back if they fire San Hannity. His deceit should not be tolerated.
