The laws on the road are not being enforced as rigorously as they have to be - bottom line! If the state and local governments do not stop this madness on the road, things will get even worse - trust me! When I drive on the roads, there are just too many laws being violated continuously.

The Pawtucket taxpayers should have a say on this decision. We will be responsible for this stadium for decades to come, all others are having their voices heard but us. Sign the petition and help get this on the ballot

Voting is the most fundamentally significant right under our Constitution because the right to vote in a free and unimpaired manner is the preservative of other basic civil and political rights. Offering no-excuse absentee voting will expand access to the ballot box for all Pennsylvanians and make it easier for Pennsylvanians to participate in our democracy. “[T]he right to vote is too precious, too fundamental to be burdened or conditioned.” Harper v. Virginia State Bd. of Elections, 383 U.S. 663, 670 (1966).

The largest proposed oil-by-rail export terminal in North America is proposed for the Port of Vancouver, WA and it's a disaster for Washington State and the climate. Big Oil is trying to force their project through by paying for Kris Greene's election -- they have contributed $370,000, which is 90% of all the money that he has raised. And his former campaign manager recently admitted that “Big Oil is completely dictating where every penny is going." With Big Oil pumping hundreds of thousands of dollars into this race, we know the only way to stop this affront to our democracy, communities, and environment, is by organizing thousands of ordinary people to fight back.

Currently, an estimated 46 million Baby Boomers are eligible to retire this year, and many of us (who are single or widowed) are already enjoying the luxury of (no-maintenance) apartment-living. However, what seems to be 'trending now' are out-of-state (and sometimes, out-of-touch) property-management companies who are buying-to-renovate (most often) sub-standard apartment complexes, which may be good for (their) business, but at the same time, is critical for many seniors who are now facing displacement or the possibility of becoming homeless. Most of us aren't advised that our leases aren't automatically being renewed until after we've signed another lease (as it was in my case), so now we're confronted with 2-year waiting lists or 'no longer accepting applications' should we 'be required' to move and find residency elsewhere. And our Social Security income will never increase to an amount where we can either afford the newly-renovated units (which have increased to $200 or more), or meet the '3x-your-rent' requirement should we have to move. Therefore, we'd like to be 'grandfathered-in' (so to speak) to our current apartment homes. We're reliable, and we intend to 'stay-put', both good reasons why management companies can 'bank' on us.

No Homework for Students! Students get enough Classwork as it is, so there's no need for extra "work." Also, teachers give us Homework to recap their lessons and to see if you need more help on it. We the people feel that there are congressmen that have outlived their purpose in representing citizens in their districts. Congress has stalled and it's time to get new blood in there .

Trump has nominated Rep. Tom Marino as head of the DEA. Rep. Marino was the chief advocate in Congress of legislation that now prevents DEA from going after drug distributors killing thousands in overdoses. We need to stop the flow of opiated pills to bad doctors and pharmacists.

My wife died from a related failure caused by incurable Alzheimer's her vital signs were not monitored in hospice and palliative which violates the intent we will care for our patient alive till they die. Medical care was totally eliminated in palliative to hasten her death.

President Trump's executive orders cancelling Health Care Subsidies and creating Inter-State Markets will cause Insurance companies to raise premiums over 20%. Inter State markets will allow smaller Insurance plans that will cut out pre-existing conditions and seriously effect premiums for those existing under Affordable Care Act. Congress MUST first enact an emergency measure replacing subsidies that have been revoked by President Trump and place a moratorium on any premium increases by Insurance Companies; and continue work on a Bi-Partisan measure to create a strong system of Health Care Markets.

The State Department and White House have yielded to pressure from a hard line minority of Cuban Americans to reverse President Obama's historic steps toward more normal relations between the US and Cuba. Senator Marco Rubio has exploited fear and uncertainty about the health situation of US intelligence agents and other personnel in Havana to endanger rapidly growing travel that fosters mutual understanding and trust. He fears hundreds of thousands of Americans annually forming their own opinion about bilateral relations, countless Cuban entrepreneurs creating a better future for their families and the construction of a vibrant Cuban community across the Florida Straits. Cooperation and engagement are the only path to resolve outstanding issues, not the drastic and precipitous removal of both countries' essential embassy staff.
