CVS Caremark has decreed that employees must "voluntarily" disclose certain "health" information such as height, weight, blood pressure, etc. The requested information is not sufficient to gauge an individual's overall health, and thus fails in the purported goal of reducing healthcare costs. It is discriminatory to deny employment (or to fine those who choose not to comply with this "voluntary" request) based upon a presumption that an individual is predisposed to a particular condition.

I am suffering symptoms of ALS. I don't want to be a berdon to cosciety and I think I should be able to get help in and have some sort of honor and so I want to donate all my posssions in support of euthanasia. I'm tired and have no family and am out of money and can't get any help from the medical or government agencies. I just want to buow out in an honorable way.

My neighbors have filed false complaints for 17 years with many agencies including; The Sheriff, the rubbish company, building and safety, animal control, humane society, public works, planning, and more. They have on average made a complaint every month to an agency. While unfounded the agencies still must waste valuable resources in the validation or refuting of the complaintant. By the very nature of each complaint the agency goes to the victims home and goes through the home and property. This violates privacy and constitutional protections. In my case the parties which persecute me have been able to traipse through this grey area of the law and use the law and the agencies to harass me.

Everyone has the right to be with who they love! The Law shouldn't stop that!

DC Mayor Vincent Gray just introduced the "District of Columbia Drivers Safety Amendment Act of 2013", which contains racial profiling provisions for undocumented immigrants: a mark or stamp in the drivers license would reveal the immigration status of the carrier, while making it invalid for federal purposes.

You or someone you know may have difficulty with rebuilding their lives after serving time in prison due to their criminal background. Those with a background of non-violent crimes should be given the opportunity to expunge their past record, so they may have a second chance at creating a better life for themselves and their family. Regardless of county jail time or prison time, record expunging should be treated equally for the same non-violent charges.

Currently on Georgia's Secretary of State website it states "Sexual Orientation: There is currently no Federal or Georgia law prohibiting discrimination against employees based on their sexual orientation." (http://sos.georgia.gov/firststop/georgia_employers.htm) In order to ensure Georgia continues in its history of civil rights advancements and not fall behind the sweeping national movement to support and protect marriage equality, we must amend the portions of our legal code which prevent us from moving forward. Homophobia and discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation is no different than racism. Just as the people of Georgia fought (and continue to fight) to eliminate racially discriminatory laws, we must continue to defend against discrimination against all groups, and this absolutely must include the LGBTQIA community. Simply put, we must not allow the legal abidance of discrimination.

My Family Member And Her Partner Have Been Living Together For Many Years, And Fore The Last Twelve Have Been Buying A House . If Something Happens Too One Of Them Was Too Pass away The Law Will Not Acknowledge One Or The Other As A Legal Recipient Or Owner Of The Home . This Is Outrages And Should Be Changed .

Illinois is the ONLY state in which health authorities are required by law to notify school principals of the names of students that test HIV-positive. Principals can then disclose the information to any school personnel they like. A bill before the senate, HB 61, would repeal this invasive and unnecessary requirement.
