Demand Banking RightsBankers have created massive wealth, but their greed comes at the peoples’ expense. These laws will make loans available to most people, and yet banks will still make a decent profit. These laws will change banking from a system that rewards career criminals, to one that rewards good banking.3 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Legal Parasites

Delta: don't steal my miles when I die!Are you a Delta SkyMiles member? If so, try not to die....ever. Delta has just quietly changed its frequent flier program for the second time in 2013. The new rules, as of March 2013, say "miles may not be transfered...upon death." However, the 2012 rule book states: "While the Miles expire upon a Member’s death, the Administrator or Executor of the Member’s Estate may request Delta reinstate and transfer the Miles from the deceased Member’s account to one or more members’ accounts." That paragraph is now gone. How can Delta do this after advertising "miles that don't expire" ?!!?! Stop the Corporate Owned, For Profit Immigrant Detention CenterThe City of Joliet is currently proposing building a corporate owned, for profit immigration detention center. If allowed, it would be Illinois' first and would make way for other similar facilities to be built in the state. Help us send a clear message that we don't appreciate deficit expanding, for profit, detention centers that overwork and underpay their employees and cut corners in medical care and proper treatment of their detainees.96 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Richard Rodriguez

Fraudulent, Forged and Intentionally Altered Documents"All Court Records of Proceedings and County Recorders Office Records reflect the written History of our Great State of California for future generations to review, enjoy and to provide educational tools for future generations. These records are the true History of the Great State of California and as such, are a valuable and irreplacable State treasure. Whereas, there have been multiple Fraudulent, Forged and Intentionally Altered documents (such as robo-signing among various others) placed in the Court and County Recorders Offices for the purpose of manipulating the records in order to further there efforts to illegally foreclose on California Citizens Real Estate.47 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Ronald O'Donnell

Institute Mandatory Public Funding of all ElectionsWe all know that campaign financing has devolved into bribery pure and simple. Because of this, representation is proportional to the amount of money offered, not "one person, one vote".1 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Rodger Hamer

CCO Transparency & AccountabilitiyCoordinated Care Organizations (CCO) were created by the Oregon legislature to provide better services at reduced cost for those on Medicaid (Oregon Health Plan), however these CCO can be private for profit companies that have little accountability to the local community and are not being required to have public meetings or records of what they are planning regarding the health care of our most vulnerable citizens.3 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Oregon Patients Rights Assocation

CVS: Don't Require Employees to Disclose Personal Health Info or Face a $600 PenaltyAccording to news reports, CVS Caremark informed employees this week that they must disclose personal health information or pay a $600 annual penalty. While we understand the need to control the rising cost of healthcare, we feel strongly that this approach by CVS breaches the privacy rights of workers and sets a frightening precedent for other employers to follow suit. CVS employees are being required to show up to a doctor for an annual WebMD Wellness Review and submit to tests for blood sugar, blood pressure, cholesterol and body mass and body weight. The CVS memo to employees also states, “Going forward, you'll be expected not just to know your numbers - but also to take action to manage them." Is CVS suggesting that it will require employees to diet? Or take up running? Many employers are focused on encouraging their workers to stay healthy through incentives and wellness programs. But requiring employees to disclose personal health data crosses a line when it comes to privacy rights. Dr. Deborah Peel of Patient Privacy Rights told ABC News, “This [policy] is about as coercive and blunt as I’ve ever seen." We agree, and that's why we're calling on CVS to respect their employees' right to privacy. Don't penalize workers for wanting to keep their health records private. There are far better ways to help employees get fit & stay healthy.160 of 200 SignaturesCreated by Jess Kutch

Standardized PackagingWhen you purchase items you want to compare prices and get value for your money. Manufacturers are making that very difficult by changing the amount in the package while making it seem the same. A "half gallon" of orange juice is likely 1.75 liters instead of 1.89 (a true 1/2 gallon). Ice cream is too or even 1.5 liter. Dry pasta is a "pound sized package" with 13.25 ouches. Is a "double roll" of toilet paper a deal when the size of the sheets, number of plies, and sheets per roll are different with each brand? While companies don't like to raise prices, I believe that making it seem your getting the same amount is deceptive and makes comparison very hard. Gasoline prices change daily, but what if the price was the same but you got a smaller amount each time that varied by brand? We need standardized quantities!18 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Tom Hofstad
