Stop Verizon from "keeping the change."Verizon wireless has a policy of keeping customers' money when they leave for another wireless provider. In other words, a multi-billion dollar corporation keeps -rather than pro-rates and returns the money of the days unused wireless service for your last month to the customer. Money taken for no service and their justification is that it is in the fine print when you sign on with them. I think they should have to pay back all the money they have taken in their keep the change policy.5 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Daniel Wood

Save the Sammons Family CemeteryWe are asking the the Virginia Department of Transportation and Governor Bob McDonnell reroute the Route 29 Bypass to preserve the history and dignity of these human beings. The bypass was already rerouted previously to avoid a pet cemetery and spare the feelings of the pet owners. However these more than 100 year old graves of slave descendants lack "significant historical value" according to VDoT and they plan on moving them to make way for the road. Local historian Cinder Stanton calls this report “superficial and full of factual errors.” Please help us honor the dead and let them rest in peace. http://www.newsplex.com/home/headlines/VDOT-Responds-to-Western-Bypass-Cemetery-Concerns-189097691.html http://www.c-ville.com/should-vdot-reroute-the-bypass-around-graves-of-slave-descendants/#.USzt7TenfTp http://www.wina.com/play_window.php?audioType=Episode&audioId=62566494 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Shining Crawford

Workers Bill Of RightsCurrently corporations are seen as legal entities on their own. Most of our laws are about subsidizing & protecting THEIR laws & rights not peoples. We have no real retirement plans that help us nor any reasonable right to be treated with dignity nor respect. We can be fired as soon as we get to retirement age for trumped up reasons with little to no recourse. We will age out without any real socialized medical option & the fruits of our labors will be underpaid & subsidized by our tax dollars due to no real laws to mandatorily have a living wage.We pay the corporations to underpay us.We need to not fund corporations who in turn stick us with all of their associated costs that are picked up in social entitlement programs from lack of a living wage.2 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Paula Vargem

The Real Food ActThe aim of this act is to require all food producers to drop colorful and misleading packaging in exchange for plain black and white wording and pictures on all of their products they sell as food. The only exemption from the above stated black and white packaging description is a photograph taken of the actual field the food is grown or raised in. This will provide a clear and precise picture of how a d where your food was grown or raised. The second part of the act has to do with the naming of food. The name shoudl reflect all of the ingredients instead of the current method of naming food that has been proven to be misleading. For example if you have eggs from an organic farm with no antibiotics used then you can call them eggs. However if you have eggs from a farm that uses antibiotics then you must call them the antibiotic name followed by egg. It is clear when you walk into a grocery store that there are many unhealthy foods being sold and they are being advertised in clever ways as healthy. If a company wants to sell food then they need to inform the public what they are selling. Misleading or direct misrepresentation of food like products has flooded the market. The costs from the businesses selling the fake food are rising health costs and increases in pollution as well as an unsustainable and unstable food source. The system has had multiple failures in regards to food safety while at the same time the genetic engineering of our food stock has created a situation where common diseases and pests will continue to pose an ever increasing threat until our system eventually fails. Thank you for your time, Christopher A. Oswald.4 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Christopher A. Oswald

Citizens United? Let the People Decide$30 million in of out-of-state money poured into the Baldwin-Thompson Senate race, as corporate CEOs and wealthy individuals from across the country unleashed a torrent of money to influence what happened right here in Wisconsin. Now, we have an opportunity to take our democracy back, by building on the movement to reverse the Supreme Court's Citizens United decision that equated corporations with people and money with speech: Sign our petition to demand a statewide citizen's vote on the disastrous Citizens United ruling.5,233 of 6,000 SignaturesCreated by Bruce Speight

AT&T RUTHLESS Nickel & DimersYes, I've been affected. I feel I am the victim of a nasty employer and am paying for her disgruntled position. I'm a non paid care-giver. I also work part-time. I'm an underpaid worker, and get paid every two weeks...my take home pay goes to my bills and I barely have funds to get to work the following week. I have a set plan with AT&T, and somehow, my phone bills are escalated to 50 to 100 dollars over the original plan...I'm not much of a talker except with my family and my 90 year old mother and family whom are upset that they haven't been able to get in touch with me since my service has been interrupted. I've spent longer than an hour on the phone with AT&T, made arrangements with them to pay my bill. Gave them access to my account in which they claim they couldn't access...and then AT&T tried to claim I hadn't paid my bill since February...I have records and bank statements saying I've paid. AT&T are constantly tacking on fees and charging me for 'over'data usage and it's making it difficult to have them as a consumer. Since I've acquired their services 2 years ago, it's been nothing but constant calls to them without much satisfactory results, except more payments to them out of my pocket that I can't afford.1 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Athena
