Stop Delta's mistreatment of its gay employeesMy son, Brian, lost his job because he was ill. Delta fired him while he was on FLMA stating that he didn't have the time available. The way Delta works their FLMA is misapplied. They use a running 12 month period of time and if an employee becomes ill at the beginning of the year, there is no FLMA time built up to cover the time needed.18 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Charlene Silvernail

End the NFL tax exemptionI think it's ridiculous that the NFL gets to be listed as a tax nonprofit organization like churches and other charities. I don't think many Americans would accept the fact that they pay no taxes. Everyone knows that they are business and make plenty of money.115 of 200 SignaturesCreated by Darlene Bates

Make fine print on commercials bigger and shown longer.I am tired of all these con advertisements that promise you everything under the sun until you read the fine print, problem is they may show the fine print but it's so small and flashed on the screen so fast, you can't read it unless you have a dvr. There was once a time when false advertisement was against the law but now a days ,these people can lie to you as long as they flash the fine print in their advertisements.1 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Richard Souza Jr

Government Employees Invest In Big Oil Through Their Retirement Savings Plans! Please ask C Fund ...I'm a government employee, and I'm angry because my Thrift Savings Plan retirement fund portfolio includes ExxonMobil and Chevron Corporation. I think it has become a moral imperative that we move away from fossil fuels and into green technologies. We can't seem to stop the flow of billions of dollars in tax subsidies to Big Oil, but as government employees, we can exercise our rights to ask our fund managers to divest from ExxonMobil and Chevron, or at least give us a green fund alternative. With fossil fuel corporations banking on exploiting 5 times the amount of carbon considered safe to burn without exceeding a 2-degree C global temperature increase (see http://math.350.org ), government employees should be concerned about the fact that they're investing in Big Oil's business plan for wrecking the planet! There are better investment alternatives with better long-term growth potential (e.g., solar).93 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Government Employee

Financial Transaction Tax - Have Wall Street Pay for its MessStock market transactions should be taxed. It can be a progressive tax like the income tax e.g. small transactions get a 1% tax while large transactions dealing in millions of dollars have a 5% tax.7 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Maxine Blecher

Urban Outfitters: Do a Better Job with the EnvironmentUrban Outfitters leaves their front doors open in the dead of winter with huge heaters placed above the entry way to warm customers as they enter. Unfortunately, this practice warms the planet instead. They also send their merchandise home in new cloth bags instead of recycled paper or plastic. Tell Urban Outfitters to set a better example for the teens and young adults who shop in their stores.90 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Suzanne Michels

Stop the $76 Billion tax credit. The middle class whose budgets are stressed to the max will pay more in taxes but $76 BILLION tax credit for GE, Walmart, Starbucks, GM and many others. We can't afford Social Security or Medicare, but we can afford this. Talk about stomping on the face of the American people, unbelievable.1 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Thomas Bogner

Consumer ProtectionProducts and warenties, to many products with a zero life and no repair parts. We are being sold crap, Corprate profits are up because of the sale of new items only, nothing is repairable. Product support is sold to other companies or nonexsistant in this Country.. Because of this we are sold junk, most advanced countries in the word have laws requiring product manufactures back there products for a period of time like 3-10 years, requiring spaire parts, manuals with eather online or phone support with waranties. I have spent my life in the repair services Electrical, Electronic and equipment. Now days if it's a year or less old it's desposable not fixable, think of the products going into our land fields with fees to dispose of most of the items.2 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Jerry Sains

Standardize Credit Card Payment Cutoff TimesCredit issuers have arbitrarily set cutoff times on one's payment due date that can result in much ill-gotten revenue that might otherwise be stimulating the U.S. economy. For example, Citi Bank cuts off at 5:00 p.m. EST. I paid my bill on the due date but at 6:00 p.m. CST; and, as a result, I was charged a $20 late fee and $1.01 "interest". It's easy to forget that a particular card has an unusual cut off time, like that of a gas company who's cutoff time is 3:00 pm. PST.30 of 100 SignaturesCreated by John S Brookes
