Citizens Bank's New Checking Account Options Are Unacceptable"The big banks have been imposing a back-door fee by raising the minimum balance required to qualify for a fee waiver on checking accounts. If you don’t keep a large buffer of cash in your checking account, you’ll have to fork over an extra $10 or more a month for account maintenance fees." And now, Citizens Bank of Las Cruces is following suit. The bad news gets even worse... the first of three options, "Easy Checking," allows you only 5 free checks a month! You'll pay 50 cents a check for each additional one you write. Can you imagine? Review for yourself these three money-gouging checking account options at https://www.citizenslc.com/personal-checking.htm1,078 of 2,000 SignaturesCreated by Jeffrey Field

Call for all Candidates to sign the 99 PledgeThe Occupy Santa Fe General Assembly approved the 99 Pledge as a tool to identify which candidates and elected officials are beholden to the 1% and which law makers represent working Americans. The 99 Pledge was instrumental in gaining approval by the New Mexico legislature of a Memorial calling for the reversal of Citizens United. The 99 Pledge has been successful at bringing the issue of campaign corruption to the public. The 99 Pledge proved to be a powerful tool in New Mexico when activists confronted law makers with the 99 Pledge in one hand and the truth in the other.306 of 400 SignaturesCreated by Alan Hoffman

Please complain to your TV stations about the airing of an attack adA station that won't approve fraudulent advertisements for products should be at least as vigilant about misleading political advertisements. Political groups would be more responsible in framing their messages if they knew they had to pass a truth test to get them on the air.4 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Dennis Kleid

Corporate Reimbursement NOW!This petition is to show our congress that we are not satisfied with the fact that businesses are making unauthorized transactions and or overcharging clients/customers. When clients/customers request a reimbursement, they are told to wait over 72 hours before the transaction can be reversed. Many have to wait about a week before receiving their money back into their accounts. These companies are basically stealing money, creating a great inconvenience, and adding unnecessary stress to the public. By signing this petition, you are stating that you agree that the requiring of individuals to wait 72+hours for the reimbursement of their money from a company should be illegal, and direct action should be taken against whomever authorizes such transactions. Also, these companies should be penalized and caused to pay interest for handling the transaction as a loan.22 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Louise Kerr

No USDA "Speed Approval" for Monsanto's GMOs!The USDA wants to fast track approval for Monsanto's genetically modified organisms (GMOs) because Monsanto is losing money during the regular review process. GMOs have not been proven safe for human or animal uses. GMOs should be rigorously tested before being allowed into our global food chain.71 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Mary Repar

Enforce Dodd/Frank and make WallStreet accountable!I would like to enforce the Dodd/Frank bill to regulate the banks and wall street. It's difficult to stay on a budget when the cost of gas keeps fluctuating so much. Dodd/Frank will assist in factoring in the events that cause price elevation in summer months. Also the commodities speculators should not be allowed to drive up prices due to things like impeding war with Iran. This happened with the housing bubble which is why Dodd/Frank was created.20 of 100 SignaturesCreated by christa kurvits
