Thousands of migrant children are being detained in detention facilities in the United States. These children were either ripped away from their families or were by themselves when they were trying to come to this country for a better life. Children do not deserve to be treated like this and everyone deserves a chance to come to this country to have a better life.

How can Americans stand by, day by day while young unaccompanied children are living in cages & tents (surrounded by strangers instead of family) by our Federal government who has no plan for re-unification with their parents. These children will never be the same. Close down these horrible kid-prisons and re-unite them NOW!!

Trump wants to put up a wall for no other reason than not wanting immigrants to get in. A american "husband" killed his wife who was pregnant with her child, and his two kids that were children. One immigrant kid naps and kills someone and suddenly immigrants are the issue.

The Trump administration just announced that they plan to end the "Flores Agreement"—the rules that make sure kids can't be jailed for more than 20 days while being held in detention. Without Flores, kids could be jailed in awful conditions for even longer. The Flores Agreement is a vital part of treating everyone in this country like a human being—it sets limits on jailtime and conditions for children. We reject this change and any attempt to modify the rules to keep children in detention longer, or in worse conditions. This change would make the "zero humanity" immigration policies even crueler, further punishing children and their families for fleeing violence. Tell the Trump administration, DHS, and HHS: No kids should be held in jail. Don’t overturn the Flores Agreement.

Bank of America is freezing and closing bank accounts of people whose citizenship they question, taking people's assets away, throwing their finances into turmoil and injecting fear into the lives of these families and communities. We, the undersigned, demand that Bank of America immediately stop their practice of harassing and harming their customers on the basis of supposed immigration status. American communities and marketplaces are the gold standard all over the world because they are supported by the police, fire, transportation, safety, economic and educational infrastructure that are paid for by ALL of us, and are open to ALL without discrimination on the basis of bias against one's race, nationality, sex, religion, disability, age and (in many states) sexual orientation or gender identity. Bank of America is hurting the individuals they targeted and also damaging the economic foundations of our very quality of life with their profoundly troubling actions reported this week. Individuals, businesses and organizations are encouraged to close their accounts with Bank of America in an economic boycott. Show Bank of America that we won't stand for policies that amount to racist attacks on their own customers. We won't patronize businesses that fuel xenophobia and anti-immigrant terror. Close your accounts. Let Bank of America know exactly why.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement and U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents are continuing to commit abominable violence against immigrants and people of color. Despite this, ICE’s budget for immigration detention and enforcement has jumped by almost a billion dollars in the last two years through a combination of reckless spending and secretive transfers of money. And now they’re at it again, trying to get a special increase in funding for immigration detention in the short-term funding bill expected to be passed by the end of the month. There is no question that this money causes tremendous harm in the hands of an agency responsible for deaths and widespread sexual assault in detention, violent raids, the separation of thousands of families, and more. We can’t allow ICE to continue manipulating the budget process as they violate basic human rights. We are committed to protecting our communities from the terror of Trump’s deportation force. We call on Congress to stop the special funding increase for detention and not allow ICE and CBP to manipulate them into increasing their funding.

I am American, married to the best man ever! We have been married for 9years, we love each other, I have 3 children and we have a beautiful granddaughter. But I am Under doctor's care and need to stay here, but I cannot bear letting my husband go again. They made me buy a plane ticket and say good bye to the man of my life!!! I am getting old and need doctor's care I cannot get it there. My Husband has had bells palsy and he is from a dangerous country and came here to be safe and help his family. Raul is a husband and father of four children who has been mercilessly detained by ICE for over a year. He was separated from his family when he was detained in March 2017, and has recently been transferred far away from his family to an ICE facility in Colorado, despite the fact that he continues to fight his case in the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, located in San Francisco, California. Raul needs your help. Raul has lived in the United States for over 28 years since leaving his home country of Guatemala. On March 22nd, 2017, he was taken from his family and placed in detention at the West County Detention Facility in Contra Costa. Shortly after the termination of ICE’s contract with a local detention center, ICE transferred Raul and many others to Colorado. He was transferred without his family or lawyer receiving advance notice and despite the fact that his case is ongoing in San Francisco, California. There is no reason for Raul to be detained. His family is suffering financially and emotionally while ICE has incarcerated him for over a year. He has missed holidays, birthdays, and other milestones with his family. Because he was prevented from attending his daughter’s quinceañera, she brought the celebration as close to him as possible and danced in her quinceañera gown outside of the West County Detention Facility as a part of a vigil held there.
