It only takes 218 votes to file a discharge petition—that's every Democrat in Congress and 17 Republicans. Support for the discharge petition has increased in the media and appears to be growing among members of Congress. The Senate has already passed a strong immigration reform bill. This bill will keep families intact and create a clear roadmap to citizenship. Lets bypass Speaker Boehner and ask Respresentative Foster to bring the Senate's bill to the floor and start a discharge petition. As a tax paying citizen I believe it is the right thing to do as they are hard workinng families and dreamers waiting for us to act.

My clients are affected every day. I am an immigration attorney in San Antonio, Texas and I see the devastation of families every day because of this broken immigration system. Although the Senate Bill is not perfect, it will help solve some of the problems we are currently facing in immigration.

I have not been affected, however, allowing 11 million illegals to roam the roads without drivers licenses, auto insurance or working and being paid under the table without being taxed is just plain stupid.
