  • Legalize Marijuana Now
Marijuana is a harmless herb that is being used to punish people from all walks of life and to help make money for "For Profit Prisons." It is time for governments both Federal and Local to reap the benefits of legal growing, sales, and marketing of Marijuana.

  • Stop Media Support of Rape Culture
Poppy Harlow from CNN should be fired for her sympathy towards the Steubenville RAPISTS and disregard for the victim. Rapists are not victims. CNN's portrayal of the Steubenville conviction encourages the already prevalent tendency of this country to blame the victim for both the assault and for "ruining" the criminal's life.

  • Abolish the Death Penalty in Delaware
The most far-reaching study of the death penalty in the United States has found that two out of three sentences were overturned on appeal, mostly because of serious errors by incompetent defense lawyers or overzealous police officers and prosecutors who withheld evidence.

  • Decriminalize marijuana: legalize medicinal usage
The statistics and the facts are staggering: More than 40 people a day across the country die from prescription pain medication overdoses; more and more doctors are getting huge payouts from pharmaceutical companies to promote these drugs; and in the past 10 years, U.S. spending on prescription drugs rose 475 percent. The current count on people dying of marijuana overdose? ZERO. Let's give a truly safe drug a medicinal purpose.

  • Universal Background Checks for Firearms Transfers
Gun related deaths are a national epidemic. Many people who are legally prohibited from owning a firearm can still purchase them through private sales and gun shows. Universal Background checks would reduce the number of sales to these people. A gun in the home is more like to be used on a family member or acquaintance than it is on a burglar or as a means of committing suicide. It is just too easy to lose your temper, pick up a gun and shoot someone dead.

  • Tougher Laws on Child Abuse and Animal Abuse
Does not anyone realize that animal abuse and child abuse go hand and hand. A person who commits a crime against an innocent animal will do the same to an innocent child. I moved to KY from NH and am very appalled that child abuse is not an issue that is addressed here in KY. Animal and child abusers see a big welcome sign here in KY. Welcome the state where you can abuse a child and an animal and get away with it.
