We have an unfortunate miscarriage of justice in Northampton County that is spreading from the Easton Police Department , to The Sherriff's Department, to the Office of the District Attorney. 2 criminals are consistently never prosecuted for their crimes.

This is a very confusing law, and it should not be carried out by the population, but by police officers only. What does "Stand Your Ground" mean anyway? The law should be abolished in every state in which it exists.

The Army’s account of what happened to LaVena was riddled with contradictions, from the alleged self-inflicted wound to where the body was found. Every piece of information uncovered was a painful and laborious act because of the Army’s refusal to cooperate.

A little 3 year old girl was hit and run and killed last year the white young man hit her left the scene and a tip was given of his identitiy and the next day he turned himself in they sentenced him to 2-7 years for killing her. He ran a stop sign and killed her. Many of my friends and family are in prison for more than 5 years for Drug cases. How do you take a innocent life and get a slap on the wrist but sell a drug and get a big chunk of time. Not fair at all. We have to take action and stop the judical system.

In WILLIAMS v. FLORIDA, 399 U.S. 78 (1970), it was ruled that a 6 person jury was sufficient under the 6th Amendment. Defendants are constitutionally entitled to a fair cross-section of potential jurors and smaller juries lessen the likelihood of diversity. The people of Florida deserve fair, balanced, and diversified juries.

Thia woman fired 2 warning shots into the ceiling to scare off her male partner whom, she said had threatened to kill her and her two kids. The partner has a history of domestic abuse,but he claimed that she was trying to kill him. Based on his story Marissa has been arrested and coul dserve 20 years in prison. Awareness n justice

The state of Louisiana has convicted me falsely and wants to sweep it under ths rug quietly. I have until Aug. 3 to file in LSC or be remanded from my appeal bond. The court of appeals denied my new attorney to even participate in my appeal process. The corrupt DA Leon Cannizzaro used to sit on the bench as a judge in the same trial court and court of appeals in New Orleans, La. You can google how corrupt it is in New Orleans, La, take a look. The Dept. Of Justice has been telling Louisiana and New Orleans for over 10 yrs to do something to better its system, and it has refused. In 2011, the DOJ finally released a report forcing it to change. It is all documented, well known, and ignored for too long. I was caught up in the system without outside help, or money to afford representation. Several human rights violations, civil rights violations, and constitutional rights violations I can clearly show beyond a shadow of a doubt.

In the wake of the George Zimmerman/Trayvon Martin disaster, we should learn from the tragedy and not move in the wrong direction to bring the potential for unnecessary loss of life to Ohio.

Based upon the unnecessary deaths that has happened within our state; I would like to eliminate and or amend the Stand Your ground / Castle law.....

Stand Your Ground Law in PA is an unnecessary law that can cause more harm than good. Extending the Castle Doctrine to using a gun outside of the home for self defense invites dangerous confrontations and vigilante type behavior, such as the George Zimmerman / Trayvon Martin case demonstrated. The 22 States with Stand Your Ground laws have 8% more homicides than before they enacted the law.
