  • Firearm Compulsory Liability Insurance
Firearms are responsible for more bodily injury, and death, to innocent third -parties, than motor vehicles,. Yet all motor vehicles must have compulsory liability insurance -- but not so firearms. Therefore subject all firearms to the same types of mandatory insurance liability requirements -- as motor vehicles,

  • Liability Insurance for Gun owners
A GSW's average cost is reported to be as high as $1,000,000. A gun owner cannot guarantee that his or her gun will not cause a accidental injury or be used in a crime. Therefore it seems that requiring liability insurance for these weapons is a reasonable expectation for responsible gun ownership. A higher liability requirement could be put on assault weapons.

  • FREE ROBERT FOX
When ONE of us is unjustly imprisoned, we ALL suffer. Dr. Martin Luther King said it best: "Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere," in a letter from the Birmingham Jail on 16 April 1963. I know Robert Fox, and he is not a criminal. He is the victim of rogue police officers in Jacksonville, Texas, who are trying to destroy him for filing a claim against the city for THEIR 8 previous false charges that were defeated.

  • All Gun Owners Should Carry Gun Insurance
Given the recent gun violence I believe gun owners should be required to purchase insurance on their weapons similar to liability insurance on their cars.

  • IF the issue is gun safety, why not make it beneficial to buy a gun safe?
With all the attention given to the tools used by spree killers recently and Sen Feinstein's bill that has ex post facto issues as she plans to introduce it (make things that are legally owned today illegal through no action of the owners beside 'owning' said item) why not attach one of the roots of this issue. The Oregon mall shooter stole the semi-automatic rifle that he used to kill two people (before being confronted by a person with a concealed carry permit and killed himself) was stolen from a friend who did not have it locked up. The firearms carried by the spree killer in Newtown, CT stole them from his mother who did not have them properly secured. A solution to this is to write into the tax code a tax exemption for any sales tax paid on a gun safe as well as a credit on the personal return for the total purchase value of the safe. This is just for personal safes in private homes.

  • Make Gun Liability Insurance Mandatory
Gun violence is a public health and safety issue that is largely unregulated. According to an article in the Journal of the American Medical Association, US taxpayers paid over $1 billion in a single year for gun-related injuries (http://jama.jamanetwork.com/article.aspx?articleid=191001). Liability insurance on guns will hold gun owners accountable for the proper use of their guns, while protecting the public and lowering health care-related costs for everyone. It will encourage gun sellers to sell only to responsible people, thereby reducing their own risk. Courts will see it is in their "compelling interest" (and, therefore, constitutional) to make it mandatory. There are many legal precedents for liability insurance. Fully privatized underwriters will offer lower rates to responsible gun owners. Insurance companies will appreciate the new source of profits. This is a win-win proposition.

  • stricter enforcement for civil rights violations by Sheriffs deputies in Hillsborough County
There are too many persons wearing badges that feel They can break laws trespass and violate civil rights of citizens to make or facilitate an arrest with out warrant or due process of law. If the police are breaking the law and violating constitutional liberty's Are we all at risk of corrupt or unjust police actions. We were given rights as u.s. citizens to protect us from unlawful activities of police officers and state ,government and any other agency that feel they can harass us as they feel fit to do. Our constitution is there to protect WE THE PEOPLE. We need to stand up and get our rights of this God given country back.

  • Secure Justice for Andrew Beach
Andrew Carl Beach, age 24, was murdered on July 20, 2012, through a depraved, conscious and wanton criminal act. The crime is deserving of prompt and aggressive prosecution seeking a sentence that is commensurate to the crime that resulted in Andrew's catastrophic, violent death.
