On Sunday July 1, 2012, Saginaw Police were dispatched to the Riverview Plaza where they encountered a mentally challenged man who had a small knife in his possession. Witnesses say officers demanded that he drop the knife or they would release the K-9s. Witnesses say instead of releasing the dogs, officers opened fire -- striking the man numerous times -- killing him. Officers claim the man rushed in at them. Many in the community believe the mentally ill victim could have easily been brought down by use of taser or K-9s, and that law enforcement used excessive force. Also, there were many children and families shopping in the plaza during this time. We are calling for our officials to do the right thing and change how officers deal with individuals who have non-firearm type weapons.

California spends about $137 million every year on death penalty trials, but there has not been an execution for 3.5 years. Florida spends about $51 million every year on death penalty trials. This money could be going towards children's education. The death penalty may be another form of the Jim Crow laws. People who are discriminated against are determined guilty until proven innocent. - Innocent men like Duane Buck, Todd Mitchell, and Anthony Porter have been convicted of murder. According to MotherJones magazine, "Texas inmate Duane Buck was sentenced to death after racist testimony from a psychologist who said Buck's race made him inherently more dangerous. Illinois' Anthony Porter who, after 16 years on death row, walked out of prison 48 hours before his scheduled execution thanks to Northwestern journalism students who proved his innocence. Texas' Cameron Todd Mitchell wasn't as fortunate. A forensic group proved he was innocent of setting a house [on] fire that killed his children five years after his execution." - Amnesty stated, "Of the 500 prisoners executed between 1977 and the end of 1998, more than 81 percent were convicted of the murder of a white, even though blacks and whites are the victims of homicide in almost equal numbers nationwide." - With Franklin's new bill, HB 1, in Georgia, women who have miscarriages will be convicted of murder.

Despite clear and convincing cases of outright fraud in the financial industry, there has been nearly no indictment or jail time imposed on the perpetrators. This lack of enforcement of the laws of the land threatens the very fabric of the Republic, sending the wrong message to law abiding citizens and businesses alike.

A public Defender will not speak to a parent if the child is 17 years old, yet the National Medical Association cleared describe a physical Man front frontals does not even start to mature until approximately age 21 [no one will speak to you concerning your child, in Georgia, not the public defender, not the District Attoneys, not the police, not the courts, NO ONE IN THE JUSTICE SYSTEM, using the age limit excuse] THIS HAS TO BE CHANGED. These young men do not understand the Legal Language, some cannot even read for themselves, let alone understands when they are signing their lives away based on what the System tells them. It is about rethinking the penal system and rehabilitation system. Why would someone commit three or more felonies?

I know some one who orginially turned in this Brooks man for the bank robberies in the 80's and received a reward. She still has the check stub to prove it. Because of her efforts to be a good citizen and report what she knew he was captured and his DNA went in the system. When this cold case was re-opened on the Ski Mask Rapist they ran DNA's and found a match(HIS). With out a doubt if she hadn't of been a good citizen and stepped forward they would of never had his DNA and this case would still be un solved. I feel we should back her in YES she should receive the reward that was orginally offered in this case.

My son Flint Farmer was gunned down and killed by a Chicago Police Officer while he was lying on his stomach. This officer of the law has still not been arrested, and it's been over a year. Also, this incident was caught on video by the officer's own police car dash cam. And in the police report, the police ruled this as a justifiable homocide. We need someone other than the police to police the police!

Jerry Sandusky will still be receiving his salary of $59,000.00 a year while in jail.

Bank of America and Many other Banks prevented certian people from refinancing or modifying there mortgages in 2007 when the Economy dumped, due to the irresponsible and Criminal Acts of Certain Large Banks. Instead they took our Bad Notes and Mortgages, which they Knew were BAD.. and sold them and sold them and made Billions of dollars off of us!

Randy is in prison for life with no chance of parole for a first time non-violent offense. He smuggled marijuana on a large scale and is no angel, but he has been in prison for 23 years and has paid his debt to society. Even Charles Manson gets a parole hearing ! It's an outrage.

My friend's son is currently incarcerated at Bucks County Correctional Facility in Doylestown, PA... At the time he was arrested his mother told the police officer that her son was recently tapered off his medicine by his doctor and he was delusional. He arrested him anyway! While he was under the care of BCCF, her son hit several staff people, and now he is being punished for his behavior that was illness-related. HE SHOULD NOT BE IN JAIL!
