There have been many cases of abuse cover ups, abuse, neglect, restrained and injured, raped, and/or killed while in staff care. These children can not speak for themselves. Also, for the children's and staff safety and protection, if a staff member is falsely accused, they have a video to back their story up. If a child is being abused, it will be caught on cameras, and the abuser can be removed immediately. Cameras can save money on lawsuits because cameras will make the cases shorter. (Open and Shut cases) Cameras can also be a great teaching tool. Staff can go back and look closer on a child's behavior, see what may have caused it, and find ways to work with the child's need better. We oppose the cell tower proposal because 1.) it does not conform to the aesthetic of the community, 2.) it will greatly diminish the value of our property, 3.) we do not believe the applicant did their best to find an alternative site, 4.) the proposed location is within an archeological site of historic significance: a Civil War campsite and the land of Chief Black Fox to whom our schools and community pay tribute by bearing his name, 5.) the tower will interfere with federally protected migratory birds flying off Todds Lake and Hoover Lake South-South East, 6.) the tower is too close to the Amy Heidish Bird Sanctuary, and the Nature Preservation Area on the West border of Fox Creek Subdivision. We ask the government to witness our hands in opposition to the telecommunication company's cell tower proposal.

I would like to propose that Non-custodial parents be legally obligated to obtain life insurance policies with the child(ren) as the beneficiary and the face value amounts meet or exceed any arrears and/or current child support through the age of majority (19). In the event that something happens to either parent, the child will still be provided for through the age of majority (19). Additionally, I would like to propose that Non-custodial parents be legally obligated to carry or pay for health insurance policies and premium for child(ren) through the age of majority (19). The Non-Custodial Parent should also pay a portion of co-pays, residuals that are not covered by the insurance and deductibles. If the non-custodial parent cannot afford the premiums, then the custodial parents should be given a chance to afford the premium if they are financially able. I'm starting this petition because I have epilepsy and there are certain events I am unable to attend due to the high risk of having a seizure. And I know there are people out there with more severe cases of epilepsy. So if we stop strobe lights we could prevent seizure risks. Then those who are epileptic can go to these fun events. (Let's face it strobe lights are also pointless and just blind you)

I am one of many artists, arts activists, entrepreneurs and civic leaders who wants to see Reseda go from being a blighted community, abandoned by the CRA (California Redevelopment Agency) to the arts and cultural center of the Valley. We are already taking steps to attract people to Reseda through the arts and would like to see the old Reseda Theatre restored as a community theatre to be used for live shows, community gatherings, and various other productions. Save this condemned theatre and ask the City of Los Angeles to restore it and give it back to Reseda!
