• Stop changing official state time twice a year
Much of the U.S. adjust its official twice per year, one hour forward in early March and one hour back in late September. Hawaii and Arizona do not participate in this process. California should opt out also. Such a change is the cause of much personal stress and inconvenience to great numbers of people, resulting in illnesses and loss of productivity at the work place. It is time to stop this foolishness.

  • Switch to Daylight Savings Time Permanently
The practice of changing from standard time to daylight savings time has become outdated. The current system extends daylight savings time from the second Sunday of March until the first Sunday of November, meaning standard time is used for approximately only 4 months each year. A recent poll showed 73% of people were in favor of extending daylight savings time year round (http://blog.al.com/wire/2013/03/florida_considers_extending_da.html). It is time to adopt daylight savings time permanently.

  • Stop the Time Change
Twice a year, we go through resetting all the clocks and re-adjusting our biology. This is a throw back to another time and is grossly inefficient and a waste of effort and money. The extra light in the evening seems to be popular, so just to pick something, let's just stay on DST.

  • "Live and let live!"
Respecting the rights of others should include other species. Wolves have been at the top of the food pyramid in Idaho before our species entered the scene. We should honor the right of all our neighbors to live without violence.

  • Attorney Raymond King Quichocho for CNMI Superior Court Judge.
Judge Perry Borja Inos was elevated from the CNMI Superior Court to the CNMI Supreme Court as a Associate Justice. Due to Judge Inos departure from the Superior Court, there is a vacant seat for a Judge at the CNMI Superior Court. The CNMI needs a Judge that had proven himself or herself and who had shown that no one is above the law.

  • What time is it?
With so many much more pressing issues, such as the state budget, decaying infrastructure, trasnportation, education, than changing time zones every few years, we strongly urge the legislature and governor to get on with serious business rather than waste taxpayer time and money on once again revisiting the question of whether Indiana, either in whole or in part, should be in the Eastern or Central Time zone.
