Donald Trump issued an executive order to open up our coastlines to oil and gas drilling. We can't let him do it. 
We all remember the horrifying images from the BP Deepwater Horizon disaster in 2010. Seven years later, wildlife and communities on the Gulf coast are still feeling the impacts. Let's make sure that never happens again. Offshore oil and gas drilling risks immense harm to marine life, public health, and coastal tourism and fishing economies. And spills, leaks, and explosions WILL happen if we continue to pursue offshore oil and gas. It would also lock us into decades more of fossil fuel reliance, something our climate and communities cannot afford. What we need is a permanent ban on ALL oil and gas exploration, development, and production off the coasts of the United States. And that starts with passing the Clean Ocean and Safe Tourism (COAST) Anti-Drilling Act to block oil and gas drilling on the Atlantic Coast. Tell Congress to pass the COAST Anti-Drilling Act to protect our beaches, oceans, wildlife, and coastal communities!

The Trump campaign focus was "Make America Great Again", and he's failing. We need to tell Trump we aren't tolerating the silliness coming from his administration and will hold him accountable.

Coats and Rogers have an obligation to taxpayers and the public to answer the Senate Intelligence Committee questions that call for non-classified, non-privileged answers, period, regardless of whether the answers involve conversations with the President.

Fracking is coming to our neighborhoods and there are no adequate protections or ordinances. Albuquerque, Rio Rancho, Placitas, Cuba, Bernalillo, Indian Land and the surrounding areas be affected! We need to demand that our Water, Air and Soil are protected!

Based on news reports, the Senate is drafting their health care repeal bill behind closed doors without any public hearings or expert testimony, and they are planning to force a vote before the end of June. Not a single patient or family member has been allowed to testify about your health care bill -- a bill that impacts our lives and jeopardizes our care. We are the parents of children who only have health care coverage because of Medicaid, and the children of elderly parents who rely on Medicaid for the care they need in nursing homes. We are the 60-year-old who needs to retire early, but won’t be able to afford higher premiums. We are the expectant mother who doesn’t want to worry about how I’ll be able to afford my child’s upcoming delivery. We are pre-existing conditions—the cancer patient, the kid with asthma, the senior with Alzheimer’s, the diabetic, the teenager with acne, the mother who had a c-section. We are the teacher with a class room full of children with disabilities who are eager to continue learning and growing. We are the doctors, nurses and caregivers who are dedicated to our patients receiving the best care. We are your constituents. Please hear our stories before you vote. Let us testify.

The congressional majority and president have made their priorities very clear, seizing tax money and turning it over to corporations, financiers, war profiteers and the very rich. These are not our priorities. The single act of slashing the budget for war will make our priorities clear and free our tax money to support what we really value, the well-being of human life and the life of the planet. Donald Trump and those around him have sought to undermine the institutions of our democracy in ways we've never seen before. Our nation's founders made sure that the Constitution contained a check on a president who abused power and broke the law. The Mueller Report and Robert Mueller's testimony confirmed that Trump has not been exonerated and that there are open matters of obstruction of justice that only Congress can pursue. Trump also withheld funds appropriated by Congress from Ukraine to pressure Ukraine's president to aid in Trump's re-election—and suppressed the whistleblower complaint about these crimes. A partial summary of a phone call was released by the White House this morning confirming Trump's attempt to seek foreign assistance in his political campaign by smearing a political rival. He even encouraged the Ukrainian president to work with both the government's attorney general and Trump's personal attorney. We will not treat this as normal. And politicians in Washington must not continue to conduct business as usual. Everyone in Congress must look in the mirror and decide how they will fulfill their oath to defend our Constitution—and which side of history they want to be on. If they fail to do so, millions of MoveOn members across the country will hold them accountable.
