Mandatory auto size reductionsThe auto industry has endangered the public by producing larger, wider, and heavier vehicles. This petition aims to pass laws limiting the size of the new oversized models being sold to the American people and forcing the auto industry to eliminate these new bloated monsters from our streets and highways.1 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Michael Ditmore

Who is our President-Elect?I am starting this petition because I am concerned about my country's future, and the divide state we are in. United we stand, Divided we fall. I don't understand what the President-Elects motives, plans, policies, decisions, or comments are. I feel like I have to lower my level of intellect just to listen to him. I don't even know if he actually has a plan. He seems to be putting the wrong people in the wrong positions and it's starting to look like a power and money grab election. He hardly seems professional and gets amusement out of being an instigator. I'm just worried, that's all.1 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Dan Rowan

Save the Affordable Care ActNot having access to affordable health care is a hardship for every American which can result in life and death choices. It is and should be an unconditional right and not reserved for the privileged few. If our US Representatives and US Senators feel that they should and will reverse the legislation for the Affordable Care Act then they should also experience the same ramifications by no longer having access to health coverage for themselves and their families.82 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Caroline Zizza

No rubber-stamping of Trump's appointees! So many of Trump's proposed appointees are unqualified (someone from the Sierra Club has noted the appointing Scott Pruitt to the EPA is like appointing an arsonist to head the fire department) and/or present a danger to the country and its future or both. It is essential that all the facts about their background and all of their positions on relevant issues be investigated, and made public, before they come to positions of power. Senators need to understand their constituents' concerns and act in response to them. http://www.nytimes.com/2017/01/07/us/politics/senate-confirmation-hearings-background-checks.html?smprod1,992 of 2,000 SignaturesCreated by Julia Mickenberg

Suspension of Congressional HealthcareAs I type this, Congress is trying desperately to repeal the bill commonly referred to as Obamacare. This bill has given untold numbers of people, who had no healthcare before, coverage and saved countless numbers of lives in the process. And while they claim to be working on a replacement, we have heard the timetable of between a few weeks to "somewhere down the road". This is completely unacceptable! That is why, as a show of solidarity and good faith with the American people, the members of Congress that vote to repeal the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) should also suspend their own healthcare until such time that a suitable replacement has been conceived, ratified, and put into effect. If they truly have something good in the works and are not simply gas-lighting the American people, drunk off of their own power, or simply looking to dismantle the legacy of President Barack Obama, then this small action should be nothing but a minor inconvenience to them. Congress, do what you know to be right and suspend your own healthcare coverage until such time as a replacement for Obamacare has been completed.60 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Nick Livingston

Delegitimize 45th Presidential ElectionIn light of U.S. intelligence findings, outside influences successfully inhibited our political process and diverted its outcome. Our Founding Fathers did not think of everything. In order to achieve feats never before achieved we must employ methods never before used!!58 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Bryan Pierre

Health care is a human rightThe GOP controlled Congress is currently debating repealing the Affordable Care Act with no plans to keep coverage for the 30 million people currently enrolled in the program. It is morally reprehensible to cut off access to lifesaving treatments and leave working families to fend for themselves. The Republicans in Congress are pursuing a vendetta against the ACA even though the majority of Americans do not want it repealed. Congress should look out for ordinary Americans and protect our care. Do not repeal the ACA.1,204 of 2,000 SignaturesCreated by Ben Wikler
