Donald Trump is an unmitigated bigot, who will likely be the Republican nominee for president. His toxic mix of racism, sexism, and xenophobia have made his campaign the most divisive in modern history. His inflammatory rhetoric has incited acts of violence at his campaign rallies, including a group of White men surrounding and aggressively pushing a young Black woman at a rally on March 1 and a White Trump supporter sucker-punching a Black protester at a rally on March 9.[1] Trump’s campaign manager was also recently arrested and charged with battery of a journalist.[2] Donald Trump’s well-documented history of racist, sexist, and xenophobic rhetoric doesn't stop there. It also includes: * Immediately exploiting the attacks in Brussels to call again for building a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border and for a ban to prevent Muslims from entering the country.[3] * Attacking Mexicans and calling them "rapists."[4] * Inciting and endorsing violence against Black Lives Matter activists and other anti-Trump demonstrators. * Refusing to consistently denounce and reject support from the KKK and other hate groups. The number of documented instances where Donald Trump and his supporters have harassed or attacked anti-Trump protestors is growing by the day."[5] The truth is that Trump doesn't represent the values most Americans hold dear. He is winning a minority of votes from a sliver of the electorate—and yet that may be enough to boost him to a national party nomination and give mainstream legitimacy to his hateful ideas. The way to defeat Trump—and the bigotry that is fueling his campaign—is to demonstrate that Americans who renounce his views greatly outnumber those who endorse him. Let's all take a stand now: Regardless of who else is on the ballot, it's critical that Americans of goodwill pledge to keep Donald Trump out of the White House and to send a clear rebuke to the bigotry at the heart of his campaign. My family, like so many others have continuously and faithfully watched The Voice. The change in coaches to Miley Cyrus is offensive to the family values this show has built its ratings on. We encourage NBC and The powers of The Voice to change their minds on Miley becoming a new judge next season. We will not watch the New season if she is a judge.

Hillary and her team recently said that she will not debate with Bernie because of his "tone". As a major presidential candidate she should show democracy and let the people of New York hear about the democratic party policies for the future.

As a progressive news outlet Rolling Stone has a long history of endorsing forward looking and progressive politics. Mrs. Hillary Clinton is far from that. Reconsider your choice of endorsing Clinton for President of the United States and endorse Senator Bernie Sanders. Rolling Stone needs to rethink it's position and work to restore our faith in the integrity and courage that it's heritage espouse.

While the people of Maine have overwhelmingly presented their support for presidential candidate Bernie Sanders, those elected in the past and present to represent the people are failing to echo the voice of their constituents. We the people of Maine are frustrated with yet another demonstration of a broken system. We ask that the superdelegates of Maine represent the people of Maine. We currently have only one superdelegate who has pledged to support Bernie Sanders and we would like to thank Troy Jackson for doing so.

Thousands of people in our community work hard but are struggling financially because they cannot access jobs that pay a living wage. Unfortunately, many of the same people can't access workforce programs because of limited English or formal education. The new Fund would help close these gaps and ensure that everyone has a chance to find a decent job and build a career.

The DNC has done everything in their power to give Hillary Clinton the upperhand in the 2016 Presidential Election. Her husband, Bill Clinton is a 2016 DNC Superdelegate. Not only are superdelegates undemocratic, this is a gross conflict of interest. We are asking Bill Clinton be removed as a superdelegate now.

CIA-backed armed groups in Syria have been attacking Syrian Kurdish forces that the Pentagon supports because they are fighting against ISIS. Workers gave up a constitutional right to sue for damages 100 years ago in exchange for the payment of lost wages and medical bills related to work injuries. These promises are not being fulfilled. Congressman Rick Larsen has made a habit of late, of ignoring the concerns of his constituents. When the people of the 2nd CD demanded he vote no on the TPA, he voted yes anyways. When the people of the 2nd CD demanded he not support the TPP, he did anyways. When the people of the 2nd CD demanded he not support coal and oil trains passing through the district, and new coal and oil terminals being built, he did so anyways. And when they demanded he use his super delegate vote to support Bernie Sanders after his sweeping win of Washington State, Rick insisted on supporting Hillary and mocked Bernie supporters. Larsen has for too long dodged the issues, and now that he has a more progressive primary opponent (Mike Lapointe), Rick Larsen refuses to debate, let alone meet with him. So please stand with me and demand that Congressman Larsen debate Mike Lapointe on the issues so that come the August primary, voters can make a more informed choice about who they want in office.

My two sons attend Willard Schools and since the adoption of the Mastery Connect report cards, we have had extreme difficulty discerning if our kids are doing well or if they are failing. The report card and the subsequent clarifications offer us no understanding of what has been presented, what the class average is, or what level of success is possible. Our attempts to discuss this with the Assistant Superintendent did not resolve the problem. Through many conversations with fellow parents I have realized I am not alone and hope the School Board will listen to the voices of many concerned and frustrated parents in the great Willard R-2 School District. All of our experiences with teachers and administrators within our district remain extremely positive.
