Citizens United is the single most destructive piece of legislature in the last 50 years. If Senator Clinton wants the White House , she can unite Demcrats with a goal of repealing the amendment.

In a recent interview with KQED, Interior Secretary Sally Jewell said banning hydraulic fracturing is the "wrong way to go" for states and municipalities worried about its impacts. "There is a lot of misinformation about fracking," she went on to say. Sadly, the Secretary is the one who is misinformed. Water and air pollution: There are already more than 1,000 documented cases of water and air contamination from fracking operations — from toxic wastewater, well blowouts, chemical spills, and more. Cancer: Researchers at the University of Colorado School of Public Health concluded that people living within a half-mile of gas drilling operations have higher health risks, including cancer. Earthquakes: Many studies have shown that fracking can cause earthquakes by building up subterranean pressures that causes slippage in existing fault lines. Earthquakes in Ohio, Texas, and Oklahoma have been linked to fracking operations. After reviewing all this evidence and more, the states of New York and Vermont, and hundreds of cities across the nation have banned fracking. Sally Jewel, the Secretary of the Interior, should just let these state and cities follow the science and ban fracking.

Dear Mr President Obama Im starting this petition for animal abuse. I see plenty of animal abusers getting slapped on their hands with lil to no punishment. I believe there should be a harder punishment for this I mean aninals are as defenseless as our children. Plus these kill shelters break my heart as well. This should be stopped. And a pit bull should be properly evaluated before given his death sentence. I think even if its a child (like hazel graces abusers) they need to be punished and get physiciatric help to prevent this as well. There are so many defenseless animals getting abused. Also I think more money should be donated and designated for the care of the abused animals and restitution should be made from the abuser to pay for their care. Animal abuse. My heart strings have been pulled due to Hazel Grace and Kringle and many others. Animals should NOT be abused. If your going to abuse them dont get one.

Dominion believes that they are within their rights to trespass onto private property based on a Virginia state law. At any given time, a bunch of petroleum pirates can essentially impose on resident's property rights; and all they have to do is "let you know" that they intend to do so. The slippery slope fueled by greasy greed is almost scarier than the other dangers associated with fracking. This practice seems to all but eviscerate the 5th Amendment of the Bill of Rights, and could lead to a constitutional fractastrophe. We are calling on Governor Terry McAuliffe to sit down with property owners work together to scrap this law.

UPDATE: 4/29/15 VICTORY! On April 28th, the Florida House adjourned without taking up HB 4005, which means that guns on campus legislation has been defeated in Florida.
