  • Rep. Fitzpatrick: Why did you vote to cut $300 billion from schools?
Rep. Michael Fitzpatrick voted for a federal budget that cuts $18 billion from early education programs -- taking 170,000 out of preschool classrooms -- $89 billion in K-12 programs and $205 billion in higher education initiatives over the next decade. That's $312 billion in total. Every child deserves a fair shot in life and that starts with a quality education. Programs like Head Start and support for special education and disadvantaged students will see massive cuts. As a result, as many as 50 million children would see their education programs cut or eliminated. Meanwhile, as state and local budget cuts have already stretched schools thin, federal funding is often the only source of funding for early or special education. We need to send Congressman Fitzpatrick a strong message so that he knows this budget doesn't represent out values. We have a chance to make an impact over the next few weeks as Rep. Fitzpatrick is on recess and making public appearances. We want him to champion a budget that invests in children. If enough of us sign, Rep. Fitzpatrick will know exactly where his district stands.

  • Rep. Hurt: Explain your vote for Paul Ryan's job-killing budget
Rep. Robert Hurt voted for a federal budget that would, according to the Economic Policy Institute, slow the economy and cost 1.1 million jobs next year -- and 3 million jobs in 2016. Paul Ryan's congressional budget would cut $137 billion from SNAP (food stamps), $125 billion from Pell Grants, and $16 billion to block grants for Meals on Wheels, homeless shelters, and child care for working-poor families. It would cut some $300 billion from education funding. We need to send Congressman Hurt a strong message so that he knows we don't support these budget priorities. We have a chance to make an impact over the next few weeks as Rep. Hurt is on recess and making public appearances. We want him to work for a budget that creates jobs and gives everyone a fair shot in life. If enough of us sign, Rep. Hurt will know exactly where his district stands.

  • TAKE BLACK JESUS OFF ADULT SWIM
It doesn't support Jesus, its making fun of our lord and I simply do not like this. Its wrong in so many ways. The cursing, the smoking weed, the drug deals, and so much more. If they wanted a show like that they didn't have to include our Lord in it! I can't believe this is on the air!

  • Increase Teacher Diversity in New York City
In a school system that is 67.5% Black and Latino (as of 2012 - 13), the 34% combined percentage of Black and Latino teachers in the system is disappointing at best. This lack of diversity reinforces already existing practices of segregation and leaves out diverse cultural perspectives that inform curriculum, pedagogy and practice. It also shortchanges our students by replicating and reinforcing false societal structures that devalue the contribution and perspectives of non-dominant racial and cultural groups.

  • Help Stop Judicial Corruption
Stealing Minorities' Homes in New Jersey. On August 1, 2012, my $250K co-op with a 100k American Express Bank FSB Mortgage and backed by Fannie Mae was burglarized and illegally seized, and I was illegally evicted and barred from my home by Self-Dealing Co-op Management. According to the Co-op Attorney, Buckalew Frizzell Crevina LLP, the Co-op evicted me because I did not pay $8,133.50 in disputed legal fees while underlining fraudulent case HUD-L-438-11 was still pending. The Six NJ Judges and Four Federal Judges ruled or participated in the illegally seizure of my co-op and illegal eviction from my home of 15 years without due process, no judgment, no eviction proceeding, no warrant of removal, no foreclosure proceeding, and no cancellation of my shares of co-op stock. I could not get a lawyer to represent me because of corrupt judges and courts. Dirty judges fight dirty. The West New York Police on over five occasions have refused to allow me to file a burglary complaint or ask my Co-op Management for its Warrant of Removal. I filed numerous complaints to NJ Advisory Committee on Judicial Conduct, Governor Christie, US Attorney of District of New Jersey, Third Circuit Court, etc. Judges helped to steal my home of 15 years. Chief Judge Thomas McKee called my complaint frivolous as he dismissed my complaints against three federal judges. What happened to Fourth , Fifth and Fourteenth Amendments of US Constitution? I worked very hard to buy my co-op. Although I am US Citizen, voter, taxpayer, homeowner, I never expected to be victimized and targeted because I am a Black woman. I am still homeless and illegally barred from my co-op. I want my co-op with its contents back and justice!

  • pay reparations to all americans slave decendants
the degradation of all African American slave decendants has suffered below the standards that white americans are entitled to in this white ruled priviledged society. we are always looked down on as "black americans" and not americans and the black race instead of the human race. its time that black americans get the recognition of being who we are: priviledged first class americans.
