• Release the Epstein Files
Despite a wide majority of Americans—including all parts of the political spectrum—wanting the full truth about the Jeffrey Epstein case, the Department of Justice is refusing to release their files to the public. This refusal is undermining the investigation, fuels conspiracy theories, and sure smells like a cover-up in the service of rich and powerful men who participated in Epstein’s criminal activities. The majority of Americans are unhappy with the limited amount of information the government has released related to its investigation into Epstein. President Trump campaigned on the issue, claiming that he would have “no problem” looking into a rumored Epstein client list. And Attorney General Pam Bondi promised to release the files.  Now is the time to make good on this promise.  The public deserves to know the extent of Epstein’s abuse and to hold accountable anybody—regardless of political affiliation—who enabled it. We are owed answers. Otherwise, given that his clients were predominantly wealthy, powerful individuals, it seems like one more example of a rigged system: one set of rules for the elite, and a different set for everyone else. Add your name to the petition to demand the Department of Justice and White House publicly release the files.

  • Kristi Noem must go!
Kristi Noem was an unqualified choice to lead the Department of Homeland Security, and her time in office has confirmed it. As DHS Secretary, Noem has lied to Congress, denied well-documented deportations of veterans and U.S. citizens, and refused to take accountability even when confronted directly with the harm her agency has caused. She has defied court orders, carried out cross-border deportations without due process, and overseen actions that have torn families apart, all while brushing off oversight from Congress and the courts. Her failures extend beyond immigration enforcement, too. Noem’s political attacks on FEMA and her decision to require personal sign-off on disaster expenditures delayed critical response efforts during the deadly Texas floods. FEMA hotlines failed when people needed help most, leaving thousands without assistance in the midst of a crisis.   Calls for Noem’s resignation are growing. Rep. Delia Ramirez has already taken the first step toward impeachment, calling out Noem for lying and for defying Congress and the courts. During a recent hearing, Noem ignored repeated questions from lawmakers and ultimately walked out early rather than face accountability. Kristi Noem is unfit to lead DHS. Her unchecked power, unlawful actions, and disregard for human life cannot go unanswered. Add your name to demand accountability and her removal from office. This petition was updated on 12/12/2025.

  • ICE agents must show their face and identification!
Colorado Springs must take urgent steps to respond to the rise in masked law enforcement, ICE overreach, and the targeting of immigrants and political dissenters, including students and lawful residents. In a February 5th raid of four apartments in Denver and Aurora, ICE destroyed a tenant’s door, ripping the locks off the door handle, entered without a warrant, shot rubber bullets at tenants in their pursuit — terrorizing the entire neighborhood.  ICE is striking fear in the community to justify mass arrests and using local police and the DEA to give cover to a federal deportation agenda. On March 17th, Jeanette Vizguerra—recognized by Time Magazine in 2017 as one of the world's 100 most influential people and known for having no criminal record—was working at a Target store in Denver. As she stepped outside for her first break, she was detained. Vizguerra's vocal advocacy for immigrant rights made her a target, and her experience underscores how those who speak out for justice can face intimidation and efforts to silence them. On June 27th, 32-year-old U.S. citizen, Andrea Velez, was confronted and forcibly taken by armed, masked individuals in Los Angeles. Her family, fearing a kidnapping, contacted the police—only to discover that the men involved were federal immigration agents. These secretive detentions erode public trust and silence dissent.  Every person—citizen or not—deserves to know who is detaining them, and why. The rise of secret policing and disappearances is not just a federal issue; it’s a local emergency. Our city should be a place of safety, not surveillance and fear.

  • Demand Congress Pass the Every Child Safe Act
This isn’t radical. It’s the bare minimum. We can’t keep piecemealing child safety and pretending “parental rights” always mean protection. The U.S. claims to champion human rights abroad—yet here at home, we allow religion and ideology to silence abuse victims. “The United States is the only country in the UN that has not ratified the Convention on the Rights of the Child—and likely never will, due to entrenched opposition around national sovereignty and so-called “parental rights.”” Far-right groups like Moms for Liberty are pushing for total parental control over education while ignoring the fact that children are being abused under their watch. Expanding “parental rights” without guardrails is not protection—it’s complicity. Think of Jonestown. Waco. Ruby Franke. The Turpins. The Duggars. Warren Jeffs. I was one of those kids. We must confront a hard truth: “Freedom of religion” has too often meant freedom to harm—and freedom from accountability. Court decisions like Wisconsin v. Yoder have left generations of children vulnerable by placing religious and parental rights above basic safety. While religious freedom is vital, it must have common-sense boundaries—especially when it comes to protecting children. It’s time to face this issue head-on and establish clear legal limits that put child safety first. Child safety must come first. Always. Kids deserve to know how to protect themselves. We can’t fight abuse if we keep it hidden. Sign now to demand Congress pass the Every Child Safe Act.  Share this petition. Use #EveryChildSafeAct to break the silence and protect kids nationwide. We have the power to create a country where every child is protected, educated, and free from abuse. Let’s make that real. "Child abuse casts a shadow the length of a lifetime." - Herbert Ward

  • Defend and Strengthen Our Democracy
Because your voice matters, and so does every vote. This petition calls on Senator Padilla to keep fighting for critical legislation that protects our most fundamental right in a democracy: the right to vote. Across the country, politicians are making it harder for people — especially Black, Latino, Native, Asian American, and young voters — to cast a ballot. Extreme gerrymandering, voter roll purges, and needless barriers threaten to silence millions. Even when Congress is gridlocked, persistent public pressure makes a difference. Signing this petition helps show that Californians expect their elected officials to champion democracy consistently and boldly, not just when it’s politically convenient. Add your name to demand action and leadership. Democracy requires all of us.

  • Tell Major League Baseball: Keep ICE Out of Your Stadiums
Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has spent the last few months terrorizing communities across the country. Masked agents have kidnapped people in the streets, ICE has arrested government officials in New York and New Jersey, and even previously sensitive areas like schools and churches are no longer off limits to ICE raids. ICE’s next target? Sporting events. In June, ICE agents requested access to the parking lots at Dodger Stadium, home of the Los Angeles Dodgers baseball team. But the team denied ICE entry. The harsh reality is this isn’t just happening in Los Angeles under Trump’s mass deportation agenda. That’s why it's imperative that the 28 other MLB teams in the U.S. follow suit and publicly REJECT ICE from using their stadiums to abduct and detain immigrants. The only way that’ll happen is through a massive, sustained campaign of pressure coming from fans and activists like you, which is why we’re launching a petition to MLB team owners. Now, all you need to do is sign:

  • Fully fund vaccine programs
Measles, once declared eliminated in the U.S., is making a devastating comeback with a vengeance. In fact, the United States is experiencing one of the worst measles outbreaks in over three decades—with more than 1,200 cases already reported across the country this year. Yet Congress continues to underfund two of the most essential vaccination programs in the country: Vaccines for Children (VFC) and Section 317 of the Public Health Service Act (PHSA). These programs provide free vaccines for children whose families can’t afford them, fund immunization infrastructure across states, and help keep preventable diseases like measles, from spreading unchecked. The only way to stop this outbreak is to invest in vaccinations NOW! Sign the petition now!

  • Take Back What Is Ours
Today, the Southside Gym is no longer run by individuals who know, understand, or prioritize the needs of our community. Decisions are being made without our input, and opportunities for our youth and families are disappearing. We are asking for your support to help us reclaim the Southside Gym and restore it as a community-run space — where programs can be rebuilt, kids can feel safe and engaged, and families can receive the support they deserve. Sign this petition to show that Southside belongs to its people. Let’s bring it back to life - together

  • The Restored Lineage Coalition
This fight is bigger than a checkbox — it’s about correcting centuries of lies, theft, and legal erasure. For too long, the descendants of enslaved American Indians, Indigenous Europeans, Pacific Islanders, Asians, and Free People of Color have been lumped into a false racial category: “Black.” Their original nations, names, and legal rights were stripped away through paper genocide, Jim Crow laws, and colonial policies that erased entire peoples with the stroke of a pen. Now, even our history, culture, and identity are being claimed by others — particularly recent African immigrants and pan-African ideologues — who attempt to speak for us, replace us in our own narrative, and rewrite our legacy. By supporting the push to recognize “Reclassified Original American” or “Soulaan” as a distinct classification, you are: ✅ Standing up for the truth of history ✅ Supporting people fighting to restore stolen identities ✅ Aiding the movement for reparative justice and data accuracy ✅ Helping families reclaim their tribal, national, and genealogical records ✅ Pushing back against the system — and movements — that reclassify, rename, and erase our lineage ✅ Defending the culture, sovereignty, and heritage of reclassified Americans from being replaced or misrepresented This is a fight for every person who believes that identity should be honored, not overwritten or exploited. Join the campaign to restore what was taken. Join the campaign to make our people count — by name, by blood, and by right. This isn’t just about the past — It’s about protecting the future from being stolen again.

  • NJ State Legislature must convene regularly
We need our New Jersey state legislature to protect our state from the threats from the federal government on our most vulnerable residents and our democracy. Last week's budget cuts threaten food and housing security. Due to the astronomical increase in ICE funding, we anticipate that actions taken by DHS will increase to the level seen in California, including tanks and military being deployed to MacArthur Park. We have elected our legislators to fight for New Jersey and we need them to be able to react urgently to the unprecedented attacks on our state coming from D.C.

  • Hands Off Texas’s 18th Congressional District: Stop the Gerrymander
Texas’s 18th Congressional District is a historic community with deep cultural roots, a proud tradition of civic engagement, and a diverse population whose voice deserves to be heard—not silenced. Slicing it apart to dilute its power is unfair, anti-democratic, and wrong.

  • Sign the Letter: Demand the Closure of Guantánamo Bay
Luis Alberto Castillo Rivera, a 23-year-old from Venezuela, came to the U.S. through the CBP One appointment system, a way for asylum-seekers to enter the country. But when he arrived at the processing center, he was targeted for having tattoos, despite having no criminal record, and then deported to Guantánamo Bay. Torture, indefinite detention, and grave human rights abuses have defined the Guantánamo Bay Detention Center for more than two decades. Trump’s decision to revive the infamous detention facilities for migrant detention is cruel. It may even be illegal. And it is undoubtedly costly — with at least $21 million having already been spent by the Pentagon on deportation flights alone. It’s unacceptable, which is why Rep. Rashida Tlaib led 15 of her colleagues in the House of Representatives with a letter to the Trump administration demanding the immediate, permanent closure of Guantánamo — and today, we’re asking you to add your name to the letter. We’ve been vocal in the fight to close Guantánamo for years, so we need to amplify these calls to “Shut. It. Down.” and make our demands impossible to ignore in this critical moment.
