The cuts proposed by President Obama will make life more difficult than it all ready is and make health care unaffordable for retirees now and in the future.

People have paid into this for many years and relying on it during the years they need it most! Stop the madness!!!

When we depend on a fixed income, the only help we get is from cost of living increases to Social Security, since pensions don't change. Please join me in protesting this change.

Saying no to President Obama's proposal to cut Social Security by lowering the cost-of-living adjustment for current and future retirees. What will future retirees have to look forward too?

Social Security was designed to see that every American who worked would have some retirement income that cannot disappear in the next crash of the financial system. As such it is one of the most successful social programs in the history of our country. Social Security is not broke. It has not contributed one penny to our deficit or debt. It would not be part of the deficit reduction talks at all except that the rabid right is determined to cut all programs designed to help Americans who are not rich. CPI is a cruel hoax that will require retirees to continually lower their standard of living, from steak to chicken, to tuna, to cat-food, to what? If Social Security’s annual adjustment is switched from COLA to CPI then the annual adjustment of tax brackets to prevent “bracket creep” should be changed as well. Please oppose any attempt to reduce Social Security benefits. Please work to remove the $113,700 cap on payroll taxes so that those who benefit most from our great country will make the same contribution as those who worked the hardest.

No more taking away from Seniors citizens, Stop NOW! All types of criminals and Con artist are always robbing & taking advantage of them. Goverment MUST protect Senior citizens. Most paid Taxes for over 45 Yrs.

Keep Social Security out of the budget debates. It is irrelevant to the deficit issue and only being attacked because Republicans have been trying to do away with it since FDR instituted it.

Why give the death penalty to someone who murdered somebody? Do you realize we are giveing the government the power to decide who should die? The government can kill people but we cant? Does that sound right? Not to me. We can put an end to this. The government should not have this right. Join me to get rid of this death penalty.

Senior citizens are already struggling to make ends meet. With the high cost of housing, medical bills and trying to put groceries on the table, they cant afford any more cuts. Senior citizens should not be on the chopping block, they deserve much more than this.

Too many seniors go to bed hungry and have to cut back on their medications in order to buy food for themselves. Seniors need more money to live on, not less!
