The contentious and vitriolic Republicans in the House of Representatives and Senate are crippling the democratic process.

Anyone a victim of commenting suicide voice needs to be heard against mental prioters who make someone feel like taking their life. Any perpretor that makes a suicide victim comment suicide should be accountalble by law to go to prison for making the person commit suicide.

The Senate Intelligence Committee has never held a public hearing on CIA drone strikes. There are basic facts about the policy the public needs to know to make an informed judgment. Is it true, as the New York Times has reported based on interviews with U.S. officials, that the CIA is counting every "military-age male" killed by a drone strikes as a "militant"? What does this mean for the claim that civilian casualties have been "rare"? If civilian casualties have not been "rare," the public needs to know that. A recent UNC study indicated that public support for military action depends as much on the risk of harm to innocent civilians as it does on the risk of harm to U.S. soldiers.

I am concerned that there are so many guns in our society that often times get in the hands of people who are not responsible. My son was killed 25 years go in Baltimore City, MD for no apparent reason other than someone thought they could. Many more have died in this city and across the nation since. Can't our gov't do something?

More than 4,000 inmates at Kern Valley and North Kern State Prisons are being subjected to high levels of arsenic in their drinking , bathing and cooking water. The levels are at least twice what the US Envionmental Protection Agency has deemed healthy..High levels of arsenic have been linked to many cancers and I believe this abuse violates our US Consitution in regards to "Cruel and Unusual Punishment"

We, the citizens of Louisiana need to provide health care /Hospice for those who do not have insurance. It is heartless to leave these people unprotected when they are sick and upon their death beds. We MUST develop more educational training for our children so that they can compete in the job markets of the world not merely to serve the tourism industry. We need to guarantee education from the Pre-School to College in quality settings for all in Louisiana. I am a retired New Orleans teacher and I know that Louisiana Education and Educators do not get the best conditions, materials, or pay but do a splendid job with almost nothing. Think what they could accomplish with more from the government. Provide for your citizens and allow us to be proud of our state and government again.
