    Capt. John Cota has been blamed for causing the worst oil spill in San Francisco Bay in two decades when he crashed the cargo ship Cosco Busan into a tower of the Bay Bridge in 2007. He has sued the U.S. Coast Guard in an effort to regain his mariner's license so he can sail again. He should not be allowed back on the water because of the damage he has done to this ecosystem.

    I'm concerned that people have lost their way in this world especially in the united states where they decided to take prayer out of the schools. i believe that we should get prayer back in the school. let us focus on one our amemndments "Freedom of Religion." i don't believe people are given the opportunity to practice that phrase. especially when they can't brethe a word of prayer in school. but whenever something tragic happens they are ready to call on God and ask america to pray. we need the prayer back in the school.

    For four years in a row, the governor has used a "Gap Elimination Adjustment" to remove millions of dollars in "promised" State Aid to public schools in New York. What's worse is that this adjustment is not based on community wealth factors so poorer schools get hurt more than wealthier schools.

I have. 23 years experience as a psychiatric nurse and I have watched the revolving door for admissions spin faster and faster because of inadequate funding for out-patient services. Mental illness is on the national radar right now and this presents a chance for Idaho to lead on this issue.

    Since people sprinkle rock salt on sidewalks, it can damage the pads on the bottom of a dog's paws. As a result, the dog may lick the harmful salt from its paws resulting in burns to its mouth and throat. Repeated ingestion of rock salt can also lead to kidney problems or pancreatitis.

    Rick Brattin is proposing Intelligent Design/Creation be required teaching and given equal time in every science classroom in Missouri, including college level classes, prohibiting families from making their own choice.     Unemployment benefits. With unemployment being high in North Carolina it is not the time to cut benefits, especially when labor isn't allowed in the debate. The State legislature and The N.C.
