Gun owners and enthusiasts have every right to own their weapons. It's in the Consitution, after all. But that right, like all others in a civil society, comes with a cost. Which they should pay for. We do it with tobacco, it's time to do it with firearms. You want to play with guns? Then it's time you pay to play!

I'm so sick of going and applying for jobs and getting turned down because I have a felony on my background and or a backgroun d that wont clear a jobs standards.. Not all ex felons/ criminals continue down the same path. there are a lot of us that are trying to do right and make an honest buck. there has to be something done about all these jobs turning people like me down from employment. all I'm saying is stop reading a book by the cover and give people a chance to prove themselves.

A simple Power Point presentation to include the history of taxation in this counrty. How regardless of what percentile the wealthiest Americans paid in taxes they still made millions while the poor and middle class remained stagnant or got worse. A Power Point with simple addition and subtraction showing our GDP, probalbe income from taxes, money to be spent per the budget, the loop holes that allow millionaires and billionaires to pay taxes at a lower rate than the middle class. And please do not describe these people as job creators during the Power Point as that seems logical put has been proven not to be true.

Over the past decade, many Americans have seen their income fall, have lost jobs and have fallen into poverty. Meanwhile, the wealth of the top 2% has skyrocketed, thanks, in large part, to huge tax cuts. Republicans are trying to hold the middle class hostage during the fiscal negotiations in exchange for providing millionaires and billionaires with another tax break. Enough! It's time for the top 2% to pay their fair share so we can protect our social safety net. There is no "cliff" on December 31; the economy won't collapse overnight. Senator Lieberman has stated that he is willing to consider cuts to essential services such as social security/medicare/medicaid during the negotiations; and Senator Blumenthal has yet to make a firm commitment. This is unacceptable.

Sen/Congress We American's are sick and tired of the game playing that had gone on and contiues to go on. STOP ACTING LIKE 2 YR OLDS, Our voices were heard on Election Night, they will be heard again LOUD & CLEAR ..

I am a volunteer Senior Peer Counselor with the Sonoma County Community-Family Services Agency. The seniors who we serve are barely making it on their social security allowance, now. To cut this would effect them harshly. We seniors don't need to be treated this way. PLEASE DON'T CUT SOCIAL SECURITY OR MEDICARE BENEFITS!!

We are four eighth graders from New York City who believe it is time for youth to take a stand against gun violence for the sake of our future. President Obama said Newtown could have been any town. Millions of Americans depend on Social Security Benefits for basic survival. As Americans, we have ALL paid into those benefits and have a right to them. My dad worked hard all his life, ran an honest business (when others in his field were cheating customers and making way more money), paid in to Social Security from his very first job on through his retirement. Now when he's 89 years old he should be allowed his FULL Social Security Benefits WITHOUT cuts. He, and thousands of other Americans, are ENTITLED to them. Don't allow Social Security Benefit cuts now or ever.

Please save Social Security cuts. There are millions of senior citizens who's only income is Social Security. We barely make it on the money we get now, and if you cut our Social Security there will be hundreds, maybe millions of seniors who would be homeless. Please do not cut social security benefits.

My husband and I are SENIOR CITIZENS and you promised us that you would not put Social Security on the table to balance the budget. We believed in you and now you are betraying us because you won't stand up to those inconsiderate Republicans. How are we supposed to live if you cut our benefits? It is hard enough to live off of what we are receiving now. Please listen to our pleas.

People that purchase guns at these shows do not have to under go a background check.

Seniors are struggling to make ends meet in this ecomony. Please help us keep the benefits we have. Don't let the government cut so the rich can get richer and the seniors can die because of lack of food or medine.
