• Don't make any cuts in Social Security, we need it!!!
Social Security doesn't even pay for most things when you retire. Most people have to keep working these days. And, when our children retire, G-d help them!!!

  • Social Security is Off Limits
Cuts to Social Security should not be an option for people who need it. Congress and House members have a 100% retirement after serving and do not need Social Security.

  • Senator Dianne Feinstein: Save our Social Security
My husband and I are retired, we worked hard for our social security. It is our nest egg. Please do not make any cuts in our social security benefit. Thanks.

  • Stop Cuts to our Earned Social Security Funds
Please sign this petition and forward to everyone you know so that they can sign it. We need the Social Security funds that we earned when we worked and money was removed from our paychecks for our retirement. It is our money and should not be reduced or tampered with by any government agency. The President has no right to touch or bargain with our earned money.

  • President Obama: Take Social Security Off the Table
The American people made their voices heard on November 6th, and they did not vote for the Romney/Ryan plan. Cutting Social Security to allow an extension of the Bush tax cuts is simply wrong.

  • Stop Medicare cuts
Every time you give me a "raise" in cost of living, the REAL COST OF LIVING IS WAY HIGHER THAN THE RAISE YOU JUST GAVE ME, and I am further behind than I was before. I got a $21 Social Security raise, a $5 Medicare Preium raise, and a $24 Part D Premium raise. Lets see, that makes me $8.oo poorer than I was before the raise. How do you expect the truly poor to survive?

  • Social Security Cuts
Regarding potential cuts to Social Security - there are many in this country, including myself, who have worked and scraped to get by, contributed our fair share to Social Security and Medicare and have only Social Security to live on upon retirement. Yes, this affects me in a very personal way. ANY cuts would be a critical issue for those in this situation.

  • No cuts to Social Security!
The President I have voted for and support is now considering cuts to Social Security as a concession to the Republicans. I am a single, divorced survior of domestic violence who raised a child with-out the benefits of child support while working as a public servant. I deserve to have the social security benfits that I have worked for all my life. Aging adults such as myself should not be forced to take a cut in Social Security when we are not the ones that created the huge deficit. We should not be used a political pawns.
