According to his stepfather, he had been taking an SSRI. Thirteen-year-old Chris Fetters of Iowa killed her favorite aunt. She was taking Prozac. Kip Kinkel, a 15-year-old youth, went on a rampage in Oregon. He first shot and killed his parents, spent the night with the bodies (characteristic of the dissociative reaction these drugs often cause), then killed two and wounded 22 of his fellow students at Thurston High School. He was taking Prozac. This is just a small sample and doesn't include adults.

Social Security is money that comes straight out of our paychecks. It is based on the money we put into the system from our income, not from the President or Congress. The money we can receive is based on our income so when there's a death, disability and even retirement there is something to help us in those events. It's the money of those that paid into it! Why should the President and/or Congress be allowed to play with our money? My children receive social security from their father's death. This money is calculated based on what he "earned". No more, no less. Without his portion of income it would be an extreme hardship for my family to continue living in a regular household, especially in Maryland where the cost of living is extremely high.

Seniors & others receiving SS benefits would be extremely negatively impacted by ANY SS cuts. Personally, I would not be able to stay in my home, feed or clothe myself and would eventually end up a homeless "street" person, God forbid.

As a retiree living primarily on Social Security, I am concerned about any "bargains" made by the White House with Congress that diminishes payments to people like me in an economy where prices and the cost of living continue to rise across the board. Moreover, the top 2% do NOT need any more tax breaks, and the Bush tax cuts should NOT be extended!

DO NOT CUT SOCIAL SECURITY IN ANY DEAL!

I have two very small pensions that help but the bulk of our expenses are paid from our Social Security checks. If they are cut we will be out on the street. Please help us and those like us to live the rest of our lives in our own homes and to be self supporting. We worked and paid into Social Security for this privilege.

Its about my vehement opposition to any cuts to Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid

To give yourselves the most lavish perks in the history of the USA and to think of cutting what people have saved for, all of their lives is inhumane.
