Don't Teach Violence-No Guns in Schools!Armed guards at school and armed school personnel would imply that school violence is inevitable. It isn't-- and its only being proposed to protect the political agenda of the NRA. Assault weapons need to be banned NOW.13 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Mary Olinger

Start a PAC to Combat the Influence of the NRAThere is no reason why Americans should be constrained by the NRA's political influence. We need to start our own PAC to support legislators who will pass systemic gun control We need to stop being afraid of the NRA14 of 100 SignaturesCreated by David Smith

need for street lights on route 1I drive to work every morning via route 1 starting near painters crossing going towards Kennett Square. There isn't a day where there is't something in the road and the possibility of a dear crossing this street. It is so dark that these things are hard to see with out the use of high beams. Which can not be done with on coming traffic. I have noticed only one street lamp on my morning travel. I think it would be best for the safety of every one traveling this busy road for there to be more lighting added. Thanks for your time2 of 100 SignaturesCreated by heather tucker

Stop The Gun Slaughtering In AmericaToo many Americans have been slaughtered by permissive gun laws in this country. Even after the murder of 20 elementary school children the NRA and too many politicians do not get the message that this must stop. The time has come for the citizens of this great country to have their voices heard.2 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Robert H. Tamis, MD

Arming Teachers is not the AnswerIn the wake of the Sandy Hook shootings, the NRA and other pro-gun advocates have stated that the key to ensuring the safety of our nation's students is to arm teachers and other school staff members. As a teacher myself, this is a fundamentally absurd notion that will only serve to make our children feel less safe.2 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Ryan Paulsen

Teachers and guns in schoolMy daughter is 8 years old. Yes, I want her safe in school. NO I do not believe teachers being armed with guns is the answer. I personally believe every school should have an armed officer and metal detectors. No person(s) should be allowed on premises without being checked. No guns on school property is currently the law. So why not enforce it???11 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Sidney Murphy

Tax Firearms to fund Public and Mental HealthThis is to begin to offset the current environment wherein firearm profits are privatized to benefit relatively few, while the increasing indirect costs of public security are (socialized) paid for by all citizens involuntarily rather than accounted for in the manufacturing and distribution of these firearms.3 of 100 SignaturesCreated by George Paquin
