It has been a long-standing problem at La Trobe University that Socialist Alternative have been permitted to continue their aggressive and obnoxious activism on campus. This interferes with students' freedom to travel across campus without being accosted and harassed. Put an end to Gun Shows unless Gun Shows sell "only" guns, and not AK-47 or M-16 type weapons. Must have I.D. and Background Check to get any weapon.

Keeping guns out of our schools and keeping our children safe.

Guns should be tracked better. Every gun should be turned in, and registered. Every gun should have a trigger that can only be turned on when it sends wireless beacons signaling its location. Any gun that comes close to gun free zone should raise an alarm so people can hide and armed police can be ready to apprehend the bad guy. No gun should be firable without its location identified.

I am a mother of two. I drop my son off at school in the morning and I want to feel safe. Let us start a discussion on Gun Control in America. We can no longer sit back and pretend like this is not an issue in America.

Increasing gas prices at the pump and the subsequent indirect cost increases passed on to the public is draining the poor and the middle class. My husband fills his tank twice a week to commute to work. The cost use to be $22.00 per fill up, now it is $60.00 per fill up. That is an extra $76.00 per week from our budget from the pump alone! In the first quarter of 2012 the Senate extended the billions in subsidies to the oil industry. That first quarter Exxon posted a 104 million per day profit followed by a second quarter profit of 15.9 billion! Our money can't stimulate the economy when it is going into the pockets of the oil company only.
