• Passenger trains for OHIO
Governor Kasich sent back 400 million for a startup passenger train connecting Ohio cities. Sending the money back was a tragic mistake for Ohio. Those trains would have created new jobs and gave Ohioans another method of travel! We need new money to be allocated towards starting a passenger rail system in Ohio!

  • Right Of Notice
Workers that do not have the ability to join a union for representation should not be subject to "At will" employment arrangements. All workers, including but not limited to employees, contractors, and temporary workers have the right to: 1) at minimum; two weeks notice with reason for termination, prior to termination from payroll 2) the most current financial statement; including income and profit 3) first 'right of refusal' of any returning employment opportunities 4) not to be used as 'financial adjustment' "variable" due negligent planning by officers/executive management Unless violation of 'code of conduct' warrants immediate termination

  • Raise Minimum Wage for large busnisses
Minimum wage is the lowest amount a employer may pay a employee, or lowest price a worker may sell their service. Currently it is $7.25, which i feel should be raised. I feel that raising it maybe half a dollar, or a dollar at the most could boost the economy, especially for the workers of large companies, like wal-mart or McDonald's.

  • Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker Do Not Change Same Day Voter Registration Rules
Wisconsin is one of nine states that allow voters to register at their polling place on the day of the election, and that's often credited with helping make Wisconsin's voting rate one of the highest in the country. Since the Nov. 6, 2012 election, both Walker and incoming Assembly Speaker Robin Vos (R-Rochester) have said they're considering ending the practice, which goes back to 1976 in the state. There are no evidence or facts as to why this existing Wisconsin 1976 rule should be changed.

  • Congress: Stop Making Excuses Not to Confirm Obama's Nomination of Susan Rice as Secretary of State
"Your apparent haggling over, what appear to be, baseless trumped-up issues related to such matters as Susan Rice's replacement and confirmation as Secretary of State is both unprofessional and counterproductive. Our national security should be our legislator's top priority."

  • Limit The Money Spent on Campaign advertising
Billions of dollars were spent on television ads in Las Vegas alone. This money was completely WASTED. Our schools are suffering and people go hungry and jobless while depending on welfare. That money could have been used for programs to help us build a better community. I think a national law should be passed to limit campaign contributions and advertising. The ads are ridiculous propaganda. THis should not be allowed to continue when we all know that it is wrong. Lets force politicans to actually DEBATE and EXPLAIN their positions with a series of national televised debates instead of wasting billions of dollars in ads. It is time for us to make a change in our failing political system. Instead of signing 'no new tax pledges', politicans should sign a " no more than 250,000 spent on advertising" pledge.

  • LA TRAFFIC: THE CURE
We’ve been coming at our massive traffic problem all wrong. The freeways keep getting bigger, yet the traffic in and around Los Angeles remains abysmal. Wasting billions of dollars researching SoCal’s traffic problem has failed. Spending millions expanding our roads and freeways has failed. Billions wasted talking about train systems has failed. Our existing infrastructure already provides the solution to our traffic problems, as well as environmental and budget difficulties too. We need to implement a smart, efficient and advanced rail system down the middle of every freeway and major road. It will be completely powered by solar energy and riders will pay for the project when they purchase tickets, unlike freeway expansions, which is tax-payer money out the window. This modern rail system will be safe, clean and connected allowing riders to smoothly switch routes at any intersection. This will reduce traffic, pollution and be a model for other cities around the world. Imagine 50% fewer cars on the road and happier commuters, shoppers and travelers. Imagine relaxing on a WiFi-enabled rail system as you commute from the Santa Monica to Downtown, from the Valley to Century City, or from Irvine to Hollywood. The bus system cannot solve this issue, as buses sit in traffic with everyone else. This rail network will be incredibly efficient and, most importantly, beautiful. SIGN IT IF YOU'D RIDE IT! Sign your name below to say “I want this affordable, efficient, traffic-free, environmentally-friendly and beautifully modern train to travel and commute in and around Los Angeles on our existing major roads and freeways.”

  • Keep General Petraeus
From what I have heard, General Petraeus is an exceptional general, and as such, it is in the best interests of all of us in the country to have him working for us. Let's not let his personal issues remove him from service he is willing to provide for our country.

  • Congressional Retirement Package
We, as taxpayers, can not afford the current retirement package (full pay for life) after serving just 2 terms. This is outlandish. Congress says we can't afford "social programs" to benefit their constituents, and yet we can afford their outrageous perks!
