I don't like my family not having a choice of what we eat simply because manufacturers DO NOT LABLE GMO products. GMOs have not been tested properly...ever...and you DO NOT KNOW WHETHER OR NOT YOU ARE EATING THEM. I assure you...you are... Labeling should be mandatory. Americans have the right to know what's in our food? Or we will continue to let our food policy be ruled by political decisions engineered last century in a Monsanto or Dupont boardroom by corporate lobbyists? YOUR CALL!

It seems like many of the initiatives on our ballot have been the result of paid signature gatherers, This goes against the legitimate purpose of initiatives, which were designed to give private citizens, not corporations or the wealthy, a voice in the lawmaking process. I propose that paid signature gathering be made illegal and that initiatives that reflect the opinions of a sufficient number of citizens be the only ones that qualify for the ballot.

Many states have already banned the discriminatory practice of checking credit ratings before offering employment but many have yet to catch up. This petition is in effort to raise awareness to Government Officials at all levels in Massachusetts that this practice is discriminatory and elitist in nature. My petition asks Americans to stop allowing the fillibuster in government

If we don't have a healthy planet, everything else is moot. We need to STOP producing greenhouse gases and get serious about increasing penalties, enforcement of regulations, and changing from an energy dependency on fossil fuels. We HAVE to act on climate change, no more talking. Scientists have been talking about this for more than 40 years! Listen to them! Federal, State, Counties of EVERY state and all countries need to CHANGE!

The United States is the only industrialized country in which approximately half the population is not insured and does not have access to medical services. The majority of citizens want this to be done. The will of the people should be acknowledged. All that is needed is the will of our state lawmakers.

I believe that we as citizens of this great country should put our collective feet in the middle of the legislators posteriors and push until they discontinue this practice of treating the American Public like mushrooms.
