Legally Occupy ChicagolandIn my ongoing search for stable housing, I realized that there are numerous vacant residential and commercial structures that could provide shelter and revitalize neighborhoods -- if they were inhabited. Instead, they stand empty, blighting their neighborhoods and mocking those facing housing instability. But there is no clearinghouse structure to make this happen8 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Audrey Henderson

No tax hike for the middle class!President Obama would like to extend the "Bush" tax cuts for the middle class, but Congress is balking at any plan that doesn't give tax cuts to the top 2%. They all agree that the middle class should not have their taxes increased. It's so simple, address the middle class tax freeze right now! Address the other 2% later. Lets back away from the fiscal cliff.1 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Matt Oltersdorf

Make Gym Memberships tax deductible.I feel that gym memberships should be tax deductible and/or eligible to submit to flex spending for re-reimbursement. If we are serious about people getting healthier then we should give them an incentive to do so. Perhaps there should be a rule that you have to prove you go to the gym at least 3 days a week in any given month to prevent people from just getting gym memberships to write off on taxes and never go. I believe more people would go to the gym and get healthier if they were able to reduce their tax burden at the same time.8 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Johnson

OBAMACARE verses TennCareOur Governor Haslam & legislators should over haul TennCare giving Tennessee residents health care with premiums based on income as it was originally set up & successfully survived that way for MANY years until Governor Bredeson single handedly decided to do away with it for people paying premiums even though majority of legislators tried to stop him & wanted to just OVER HAUL it ! TennCare once offered AFFORDABLE healthcare with premiums based on income for people who did not have healthcare thru their work places !12 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Charles D Brown

$10 trillion of Debt Reduction in 10 years with no cuts to MedicareIf we really are serious about reducing the National Debt we have to raise taxes on everyone. Why not let current law prevail and let Bush Tax Cuts and "Sequestration" cuts take place for real. Adding a .5% (1/2 of 1 %) transfer fee to the $600 trillion Derivatives market would bring about the most aggressive reduction of debt anyone is proposing.5 of 100 SignaturesCreated by James F Kainz
