The Bremerton Marina is a wonderful public dock and salt water access area on the City of Bremerton water front. The recent downturn in the national economy in conjunction with continued mismanagement of the marina, by both the Port of Bremerton Commissioners and upper level facility management has created a situation where the marina is continually short of revenue. As a result, of this shortfall, the only solution the Port of Bremeton's Commissioners are proposing ss that they should be allowed to sell and therefore privatize what is and should remain a publicly owned facility and highly valuable piece of water front infrastructure.

Walmart workers around the country walked off the job on Black Friday in protest for more full-time positions, better wages and more affordable access to insurance. As a former Walmart worker, I know that Walmart keeps many or most of its employees part-time, pays exceedingly low wages, and the insurance is so expensive that most workers cannot afford to participate in the plans.

If mendacity had resulted in Mr. Romney winning the Presidential election, he would have done the nation a great disservice. As a proponent of free markets, he should know that efficient markets require perfect information from both buyers (voters) and sellers (politicians). Alas, Mr. Obama and his campaign were not completely free of untruths either.

Pres. Obama has an opportunity to go down in history as one of the greatest presidents in US history if he is able to broker a PPME. This would involve reconsideration of our present foreign policy with Israel.The United States need to level the playing field in the ME. The Palestinians and Israelis must be treated as equals and with human dignity. Unless we can persuade Israel to change its ways we will never see peace and the Muslims will continue to want to kill Americans.

Congressional leaders in the Republican ranks want to repeal the Affordable Care Act (a.k.a Obamacare), yet their health coverage is free and their retirement is free. It is time for the members of Congress to ante up and pay for their own health coverage and retirement if they wish to deny American citizens affordable care and Social Security. After all, they should lead by example.

Real wages have declined for the past 30 years....and this affects almost everybody. Even if you don't earn minimum wage, your paycheck is in fact influenced by it. This apply for people that make less than $70,000.00, which is the majority of the people...Let's at least go back to 1968.

HOLD CONGRESS ACCOUNTABLE FOR THEIR ACTIONS (MORE NOTABLY, THEIIR INACTIONS). IN AMERICA YOU SHOULD GET COMPENSATED FOR WHAT YOU DO, NOT WHAT YOU DON'T DO. THE GREATEST IMPEDIMENT TO PROGRESS IN AMERICA TODAY IS CONGRESSIONAL INACTION. WE NEED TO CHANGE THE POWER CONGRESS HAS IN DECISIONS THAT ARE VITAL TO THE PROGRESS AND THE VERY SURVIVAL OF THIS COUNTRY.

Insurance and pharmaceutical companies along with banks and rich Americans are buying the votes and decisions of our government.

Republicans continue to attack the Ambassador for stating the information that was provided to her. They, republicans, appear to be trying to continue the election by unfairly attacking the Ambassador and threaten to block her appointment, should she be appointed, to Secretary of State.

Critical issues in the Senate like the fiscal cliff, making sure our veterans have jobs when they come home and taking steps to combat climate change are stalled as a result of overuse of the filibuster. In the midst of revising its Unified Development Ordinance, Raleigh is about to miss out on the opportunity for progressive zoning that would allow urban agriculture to flourish in all parts of the city. Recommendations for new urban ag rules have been made to the City Council, but the planning process threatens to sweep them aside. Tell the Mayor and the City Council to open a planning session for public comment, so that those who know urban agriculture best can speak up!
