Republican Congress: stop being obstructionists, the party of NO!We, the citizens of the United States should be tired of the party of no-- the Republican Congress-- who have been obstructionists at the detriment of American citizens. The republicans stopped the million jobs bill last year while they continue to blame Obama for unemployment and the economy. In September, the republicans denied passage of the Veterans Job Corps bill as well. They attack the Affordable Health care Act. Clearly, these republicans don't want Americans to work or to have access to affordable health care. They want Americans to suffer.15 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Dawn West

Dismantle the Electoral CollegeAs a concerned citizen and registered voter, I want my vote, and the votes of each citizen, to count. We need to eliminate the aristocratic tradition of the electoral college, and put political power into the hands of the people whom this country serves. I want to be able to teach my children that their vote truly does matter. The only way to make this a factual statement is to rid ourselves of the electoral college.11,122 of 15,000 SignaturesCreated by Laurie Summer

End hate speechPolitical pundits such as Glenn Beck are making up conspiracy theories and using those lies as a way to advocate violence. Mr. Beck recently recommended that all his followers buy guns. There is a connection between this kind of violent speech and the mass shooting in Tuscon Arizona by Jared Loughner. The first amendment was not designed to protect a persons' right to incite violence.8 of 100 SignaturesCreated by mark ninci

SHOW SOME RESPECTI would like for everyone to show respect for the office that our President holds by calling him President Obama. It irks me so to hear him addressed so disrespectfully. It's now time to CHANGE that!!!35 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Linda Enders

Climate changeWe have long passed the point where we can actually prevent some of the adverse affects of climate change such as rising sea levels, ocean acidification, and large storms, but we may be able to slow it enough to adapt.12 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Susan R. Schnur

Balance the Federal BudgetWith a President starting a second term in office, with no potential for another term at stake, this is the perfect opportunity to put politics aside, and make the tough choices necessary to balance our federal budget. This is no just about "avoiding the fiscal cliff," it is about taking a long-term view of the challenges our nation is expected to face, (healthcare/retirement needs of aging baby boomers, exponentially growing cost of higher education, debt crisis at state and local government level, etc.), and working in a united way to make the tough choices to ensure that we are not simply "kicking the can down the road" for the generations of Americans (our children and grandchildren) to deal with.11 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Diane Langdon

Cooperate or elseTea Partiers in Congress have spent the past 4 years obstructing a jobs bill, fair taxation for all, and reasonable immigration laws. The country has spoken. SIgn up and pledge to bombard the obstructionists with the message that if they don't cooperate and compromise, we will dedicate ourselves to voting them out in 2 years.155 of 200 SignaturesCreated by Fran Johns

Shame on you, Sears! My husband and I have bought Sears Craftsman Tools for close to 50 years and have always been proud to be buying AMERICAN products. Slowly but surely we have begun to see more and more of "America's most trusted tool brand" no longer made in the United States but outsourced to China. This has got to stop. In the latest instance Sears stopped ordering the American designed and US manufactured Bionic Wrench and replaced it with a Chinese knock off under their Craftsman brand called the Max Axess wrench. We need to speak up! Let Sears know that if they want Craftsman to remain America's most trusted brand of tools they need to support American manufacturing!2,486 of 3,000 SignaturesCreated by Loretta Ekoniak
