Watching the damage inflicted on people by guns and ammunition in Aurora, CO and hearing of the economic consequences to the injured individuals, I wondered what approach would result in those who profit from guns and ammunition being held economically responsible for the results of their trade.

There has been far too many DEADLY attacks on the GLBT people, and the guilty have just gotten away with a slap on the hands. NO MORE!!! I am not going to tolerate this anymore. I know way too many people that will join with the GLBT community everywhere. We must put a stop to this evil, and put the guilty in prisons for no less than 5 years

This is an environmental / quality of life / noise pollution issue: I live in San Francisco where there's enough noise already -- without all these motorcyclists riding their super-loud "hogs," setting off car alarms, disturbing daily life. What's with these people and their "I am the loudest!" antisocial behavior? It's beyond inconsiderate. One theory I've heard is that they're compensating for something (a part of their anatomy?) that's lacking? I'm concerned that if nothing is done, the noise levels will only continue to increase. Rather than accept this as the norm, let's speak up and change our reality. I can see this issue growing like wildfire since many people I've spoken to share the same feelings. Also, in the coming years, as more hybrid cars hit the road (with their auto-off feature whenever they come to a stop), we'll slowly be tilting the balance toward a quieter street life. Imagine that? Allowing laborers or anyone toiling at sixty who wishes to retire immediately without penalty would not only open up hundreds of thousands of jobs, but unleash spending sprees, traveling, changes of locale, and in general provide all the jobs we need but stir up the economy to boot. My guess is we'll come out ahead and make a whole lot of people very happy.

Brad Lang has started a petition to hinder and reverse the citizens right to sell and purchase fireworks. His claim is that tent sales of fireworks somehow causes violence and it is obvious that he is grasping at straws for an excuse to restrict others freedoms. Remember the Tunisian vegetable vendor that was similarly prohibited from earning an honest living and set himself on fire in protest thus, igniting the Arab Spring revolutions? The current law is just and needs to be protected agianst those who want to restrict others freedoms.

We need to look at ways to prevent suicides, mass murderer and violence in our country. It has been on the rise unfortunately. We practice predjudice in politics-sexual issues etc. We need to start prevention by putting a stop to bullying-allowing gays and lesbians to marry (2 or many issues).

Since 1988, I became injured on the job with RSI's & now all employees are at great risk with bio labs that are unregulated & causing severe illness and or death on the job. Employers are immune from having to accept responsibility for their injurious acts & if an injured worker is lucky enough to stay alive, he or she will be forced to go on Social Security & Medicare. Insurance companies/employers are getting away with injuring and or the death of employees on the job and on worker's compensation without paying for these worker's injuries/illnesses or death benefits. This an abomination of the 21st. century. We need our top official to put an end to this practice immediately, to mete out justice and restitution, enforce health & safety laws and create laws for employers to suffer felonies rather than misdemeanors for injuring or or the cause for illnesses that are negatively impacting our society as a whole. These issues have reached epidemic proportions for over 25 years with the workplace abuses affecting all levels of employment!

Idaho is one of only two states that does not provide protection for a woman's right to breastfeed her child anywhere she is able to be. Breastfeeding women are often discriminated against and harassed for trying to do the best thing for their children. We need to protect the rights of our mothers and babies and help support a strong breastfeeding relationship.
