A debate between Darrell Issa and his Democratic opponent, Jerry Tetalman, is of national importance because his policies are jeopardizing important organizations like the post office and well established personal freedoms. He needs to justify his position in one or more debates. As chairman of the House Oversight Committee, he holds lawmakers accountable. I'm going to Fortenberry's office tomorrow, August 1st, and I'd like to show him how many in his district WANT the Senate tax cut for the middle class passed. This is about the good of the people. If he is so upset about the top 1% not getting an extension, then he can start another bill just for them.

Where is there a need for an assault weapon by a non military individual? I can't think of an answer, can you? Who do you know that would purposefully put this kind of weapon into the hands of a mentally unstable individual?

One easy way for state and local governments to save money is by releasing non violent offenders. In order to keep them accountable and increase tax revenues such release would depend on them getting a Job. Non violent offenders should have access to career builders, and if employed they should be released as long as they stay employed.

Because the 112th session of the U.S. House of Representatives failed to take appropriate action the United States of America lost it's AAA credit rating for the first time in history and threatened our nation with default.

Gov. Rick Scott has reaffirmed his decision to appeal the Federal Court ruling overturning the ban on doctors talking about guns with patients. The law in question infringes on the doctor's free speech and medical judgement by prohibiting doctors from discussing gun ownership and safety during exams. It is our tax money wasted on a law that is not only unconstitutional but panders to the gun lobby.

My son could not afford a visit to doctor as he has no employment nor health insurance. He went to the center that he was going to and asked for a prescription for the insulin that he needs to stay alive and was turned down because he didn't come in for an appointment. He came very close to dying on two separate occassions as a result. I propose that Insulin dependent diabetics no longer be required to see a doctor or nurse practicioner if they are unable financially and have no health insurance, but if they are adults, why not be given a card by the diagnosing physician as to what type of insulin they use so that they will be able to just go to the pharmacy and obtain this life saving medication as oppossed to nearly dying as my son did on two separate occassions because of this incident.

House and Senate Republicans (self-admitted the party of "No") have abstructed laws from passing and benefiting the American people in order to weaken the President. Thus, these Republicans are anti-American saboteurs, fitting for indictment.

This is my idea of a tough concession. And we are entitled to life liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Isn't smoking marijuana the pursuit of happiness for many.
