Consumer DebtThe Federal Reserve has been bailing out the banks by buying lots of toxic debt (derivatives, etc.) from the Big Banks to the tune of trillions and trillions of dollars. Why shouldn't it instead be buying up the mortgages of people about to be foreclosed on and students who hold huge debt but have no job?.The Fed can even make money on the deal by charging between 1%-5% interest since its own cost of money is only about .075 or so.3 of 100 SignaturesCreated by David R. Polygraph the DebatesLie detection and polygraph style analysis are mature enough to provide real-time feedback. Lets petition the major news networks to put on-screen lie-dection metrics similiar to how CNN provided live-feedback in the 2008, John McCain and Barack Obama debate in September of 2008: http://blogs.wsj.com/numbersguy/scoring-the-debate-live-on-cnn-420/3 of 100 SignaturesCreated by John Brown

Congressional ReformCongressional Reform Act of 2012 1. No Tenure / No Pension. A Congressman/woman collects a salary while in office and receives no pay when they're out of office. 2. Congress (past, present & future) participates in Social Security. All funds in the Congressional retirement fund move to the Social Security system immediately. All future funds flow into the Social Security system, and Congress participates with the American people. It may not be used for any other purpose. 3. Congress can purchase their own retirement plan, just as all Americans do. 4. Congress will no longer vote themselves a pay raise. Congressional pay will rise by the lower of CPI or 3%. 5. Congress loses their current health care system and Participates in the same health care system as the American people. 6. Congress must equally abide by all laws they impose on the American people. 7. All contracts with past and present Congressmen/women are void effective 12/1/12. The American people did not make this contract with Congressmen/women. Congress made all these contracts for themselves. Serving in Congress is an honor, not a career. The Founding Fathers envisioned citizen legislators, so ours should serve their term(s), then go home and back to work.15 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Eileen Olovson

An Amendment Limiting Political ContributionsThe United States was founded on the fundamental right of citizens to have a voice in their government. The Citizens United ruling has given corporations and individuals with huge sums of money a disproportionate voice in the financing of political campaigns, effectively limiting the First Amendment freedoms of individual citizens to participate in their government.14 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Richard R Goodwin III
