The Federal Reserve has been bailing out the banks by buying lots of toxic debt (derivatives, etc.) from the Big Banks to the tune of trillions and trillions of dollars. Why shouldn't it instead be buying up the mortgages of people about to be foreclosed on and students who hold huge debt but have no job?.The Fed can even make money on the deal by charging between 1%-5% interest since its own cost of money is only about .075 or so.

Makng it more difficult to place initiatives and constitutional amendments on the ballot.

This petition is seeking to protect the health of Americans and their families from an industry that is exempt from basic environmental protections, coddled by regulators, and supported by generous tax incentives to drill next to our schools and homes.

Remove all special treatment the government receives. No special pension, no special health care. They are just like us and deserve to be in with us when it comes to laws and regulations!!

Congress can purchase their own retirement plan, just as all Americans do. 4. Congress will no longer vote themselves a pay raise. Congressional pay will rise by the lower of CPI or 3%. 5. Congress loses their current health care system and Participates in the same health care system as the American people. 6. Congress must equally abide by all laws they impose on the American people. 7. All contracts with past and present Congressmen/women are void effective 12/1/12. The American people did not make this contract with Congressmen/women. Congress made all these contracts for themselves. Serving in Congress is an honor, not a career. The Founding Fathers envisioned citizen legislators, so ours should serve their term(s), then go home and back to work.

Members of Congress and all the Legislators exempt themselves from laws that they make, this should end.
