1. No Tenure / No Pension. A Congressman collects a salary while in office and receives no pay when they are out of office. 2. Congress (past, present & future) participates in Social Security. All funds in the Congressional retirement fund move to the Social Security system immediately. All future funds flow into the Social Security system,and Congress participates with the American people. It may not be used for any other purpose. 3. Congress can purchase their own retirement plan, just as all Americans do. 4. Congress will no longer vote themselves a pay raise. Congressional pay will rise by the lower of CPI or 3%. 5. Congress loses their current health care system and participates in the same health care system as the American people. 6. Congress must equally abide by all laws they impose on the American people. 7. All contracts with past and present Congressmen are void effective 1/1/12. The American people did not make this contract with Congressmen.

The "equal time" requirement for the press and public airwaves reporting on political opinion was taken out, very quietly, by congress during the Reagan years. It has allowed the dramatic increase in "hate politics" without any refutation, that is undermining American democracy. This petition calls upon Congress to restore a much needed means of civility.

Bicycling is considered to be a major mode of transportation by many in New York City. Yet, the local government has failed to keep cyclists safe and continues to equate bikes with motor vehicles. JUST ANONYMOUS SUGGESTION. Govt ordinance could relegate "specific" or identifiable vehicle model for repeated offenders. It would look generic or less desireable and above all efficient.

Our Petition is poised to ban Monsanto and their GMO produce/products Worldwide...very simple and to the point.

Allow law abiding citizen's with concealed carry licenses to carry their weapons into any location that does not have armed security and metal detectors at the door.

Who and what companies are getting the Tax Breaks? Are we giving Tax Breaks to companies shipping OUR JOBS overseas? Are we giving Tax Breaks to companies who pay their CEO's millions and millions and millions in compensation? Please explain the Tax Breaks, starting with General Electric. How much do they save on Tax Breaks when 2 out of 3 GE emplyees ate OVERSEAS?
