• Patriotic Donation Share Act
Taxation of all political donations made by individuals, and organiztions of any type, at the rate of 50 percent to pay down our debts and expenses locally and nationally, irrespective of party affiliation, potitical view, etc. This tax on donations would be fair and of value to all Americans in a multitude of ways. This would, of course, cut back on propaganda in all media as it supports our country's need to reduce our local/national debts.

  • Pass the Frack Act
Our environment is under assault on many fronts, but one of the worst is Fracking, a process where tons of harmful chemicals and water (some unknown and proprietary) are pumped under extreme pressure several thousand feet under the Earth into the gas rich shale. There are practically no studies on the effects of this process on our drinking water aquifers. Think about this, of all the drinking water on Earth, only a fraction of a percent, out of 99%, is potable water. The gas industry is run by former Bush allies. People in Pennsylvania are being lied into giving the rights to their land to the gas industry by zealous lawyers who use deceit to convince these folks into signing complex legal papers, therefore, giving the gas industry the rights for up to 50 years. To put this all into perspective, the gas wells produce a lot of gas for about a year, and then it slowly leaks out of the shale for up to 50 years. It is only enough for America's gas needs for 3 and a half years. In the wake of this process, the gas producers leave huge pools of this toxic sludge in retaining pools, which they claim they will remove all of it. Nobody can remove it all without some being left in the environment. People in Pennsylvania cite creeks that move like Jellow under their feet, and in other states, people's drinking water is ignitable out of the tap. Local town officials have used electronic gas detectors that show a visual readout of the gases leaking from stations that pump the gas to its ultimate destination. Thereby adding more greenhouse gases into our atmosphere. Most of this gas is sent to other countries, and it is never used in America. I urge you to sign this petition.

  • Stand up for the Port of Georgetown - S.C.
South Carolina's 7th Congressional District includes the Georgetown port. Time and time again, the port has been neglected by elected officials. It's time they stand up and vocally support or port and get dredging funds it desperately needs. Our action could result in forcing the new lawmaker to dredge our port and bring new jobs to Georgetown County in S.C. It's now time we tell all those who have the power to help Georgetown to do so now.

  • End Subsidies for Big Banks
The recent major losses of JP Morgan and a study done by Bloomberg have pointed to an ongoing program of multi-billion dollar subsidies of 18 major banks in the US. These banks' continuing risky practices, awards of extreme amounts to its top executives, and total lack of accountability do not entitle them to receive what amounts to corporate welfare. I call for an end to federal subsidies of the big banks.

  • Save our Labor Unions
At the turn of the 20th century a lot of blood sweat and tears were shed to prevent big money, corrupt owners and management from endangering our lives and lively hoods. With unions, weather a member or not, wages are higher for all. My Postal union has been without a contract for 2 years and is in arbitration at this time. We have lost income in each of those 2 years because of mail counts without Union intervention. Our wages are going down and the cost of living is going up. We want to know where President Obama stands on this and please support our efforts.

  • Congressional Term-Limit & Ethics Amendment
Congressmen should be limited to 12 years, maximum, per House. They should live on the income we pay them -- not "speaking" or "consulting" fees. They should return to live in the society they create while in office. Campaign finance reform from a government pool limits campaign spending and eliminates the ridiculous Citizens United decision. Forcing them to live on the salary we pay them pries them out of the pockets of their monied overlords. They won't do it themselves.

  • Thank Mitt for Obamacare!
Republicans intend to raise money, rally the Republican base, and defeat President Obama because of the Supreme Court's vindication of Obamacare, even though Obamacare is an idea that was championed by their presumptive presidential nominee, Mitt Romney. They might actually succeed, unless common-sense Americans stand up and give credit where credit is due. Sign this petition and thank Mitt Romney for supporting the inspiration for Obamacare. Republican leaders are hoping that the Republican base will forget that Mitt supported and approved the same type of legislation that President Obama has, and that that will lead to a Republican victory in November. Let's give them all a reminder by thanking Mitt for Obamacare!

  • It's Time to Change the Supreme Court Judges
My petition is about changing how we choose the supreme court judges. Right now they are appointed for life and very divided meaning half are Republicans and half are Democrats. They work along their own party lines. We need Judges whom are independent and are elected by the people and have term limits like we elect the President.
