DOJ needs to investigate Supreme Court CorruptionJustice Thomas and Scalia have been blatent in their acceptance of Koch brothers (and others) "speaking fees" and and other forms of monetary "gifts". Justice Thomas's wife gets regular monetary contributions from these groups. The Citizens United disastrous decision is a direct response to to the influence purchasing. The problem is that this subtle form of bribery is aginst the law and needs to be investigated.10 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Robert Thomas

No Contempt for Eric HolderHi, Eric Holder is the latest hostage in the Republican majority's bid to remove President Obama from office. Their measures are extreme, inflammatory, racist and a misuse of their time and energies and our tax dollars. To vote for contempt is to continue the downward spiral of the public's view of congress being viscous, partisan, petty and willing to ruin other people's lives and careers to achieve their aims. Stop this procedure!! That's why I created a petition to The United States House of Representatives, which says: "Stop the Contempt Vote for Eric Holder. If it is scheduled, Vote NO." Will you sign this petition? Click here: http://signon.org/sign/no-contempt-for-eric?source=c.em.mt&r_by=1129263 Thanks!1 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Beverly Lenny

Sick of the Republicans with their hurting the country and the poorIt is obvious to me that the republican party have no problem with harming the poor and looking out for the rich. The republicans hate the president so much until they will harm the entire country just to get him out of office. I am so sick and tired of the mostly old white men who have been in office for in my judgement to long. The republicans have gone off the cliff and they are the party who started all the harm.1 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Gloria

The War on Women Stops in MichiganWe were caught by surprise when we learned that "Super-Anti Abortion" bills from the Michigan House of Representatives were being fast tracked through a committee hearing and to voting on the floor. In just one week, House Bills 5711 - 5713 were approved by a committee that refused to hear testimony against the bills and made it to the floor of the Michigan House of Representatives. The day that these bills were supposed to be voted on, Michigan women flooded their capital and made their voices heard. The impact was strong enough for the legislators to slate voting for another day. Two days later, HB 5711 was voted in. During this voting session, two representatives spoke out against the bill and found themselves prohibited from speaking during the next session, even on topics not pertaining to abortion or women's rights. This silenced not only these representatives, but also their constituents. The women of Michigan will not be silent, despite the attempts of the bills' supporters to shut down dissenters. They spoke out again at the capital steps Monday, June 18 by hosting Eve Ensler and Michigan representatives that voted against these bills in a short notice, but heavily attended, rendition of the Vagina Monologues. These bills are only the most recent of state government attacks on women's health and reproductive rights. They have been called the most restrictive anti-abortion bills yet, and they would effectively shut down the vast majority of abortion clinics in the state. At each step, those that disagree with this set of bills have been silenced and ignored, but they are still shouting to make their voices heard. Please join us in telling the Governor of Michigan, Rick Snyder, and the Michigan Senate that attempting to silence the voices against these bills is undemocratic.12 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Laura Carlson
