The nation has been held hostage through the Great depression of 2008 by an inept and selfish Congress just waffling over all issues except the Pork barrel ones which enrich them. Supreme court justices,with their present life long tenure are simply distanced from reality and have no incentive to rule on issues of our times in a un-biased non-partisan way. time to impose term limits on both.

More than half a million homes are in foreclosure in California only, yet the banks have been bailed out again at the expense of homeowners and tax payers with the uninvestigated settlement made with the banks for forgery and mass "robosigning." The banks are incentivized three ways to profit from foreclosing rather than modifying and or refinancing struggling homeowners and families in this job crisis and the inflated housing market brought on by the mortgage back security scandal. The banks get our tax payer money to modify which they do not do, they get incentives from the private investors to forclose, and they get insurance money to foreclose as well. Not to mention the fact that they get a sort of "reset" button to register the properties properly this time with a new loan, they get our land and our life time investments and they steal our futures in every way.

GMO's are proven to be an agricutural nightmare. the toxins from the corn, soy and two other crops are getting into babies blood from their mother's milk. Genetically creating a plant that creates it's own pesticide is putting that pesticide into the food the plant develops. What are these people thinking(if they can think at all)???

Repeal the Controlled Substances Act and legalize all drugs for mentally competent adults (21+). The Drug War has failed, 30,000 people have lost their lives in Mexico, and for what? Marijuana is not going away. It's about time we decriminalized it.

I'm tired of the Republican party voting against things that are good for America, just because it was proposed by a Democrat. I'm also tired of Democrats fighting tooth and nail againt everything the Republicans propose. I believe that EVERY person who wants to hold office, and "work" for U.S., should run (essentially) as an independent - with NO "PARTY" affiliation that they must keep happy. i use to think teachers were very special human beings,some are but they are fast becoming the minority.in some cases the economy has made it cost effective to retain the services of teachers who shouldnt be allowed near any student,those who emotionally and physically abuse those children we entrust them to teach and inspire. there should be a rule /law ,something in place to protect all children, gifted,special needs,etc.those who are found guilty of theses crimes should be terminated and those who arent shouldnt get tenure!
