Our representative democracy is under attack from the corporations and super pac interest groups who are able to buy elections. The corporations have now achieved all of the rights of personhood, with none of the responsibilities. Groups with no transparancy of membership, transparancy of money sources or accountability to anyone, can use their economic power to subvert free and fair elections. Multi-national corporations and secret super pacs whose loyalty is not to America or the American people, or the interest of the United States, but to their bottom line and to the self interest of their (unknown) constituencies should not have the opportunity to unduly influence elections and decisions that affect all of the citizens of the US. The Supreme Court erred gravely in rendering this decision and the decision should be over-turned.

Lately, many dogs and other animals have been sickened or died from tainted pet food and pet treats. Most of these products are made in China and under the name of an American company. Pet food manufacturers not only deny their products did not cause any illnesses or deaths of pet companions, but steadfastly will not accept any financial liability for their tainted products.

My petition is get better laws against deadbeat parents who receive SSI benefits from the government. My son's father owes more that $30,000.00 in back child support, but the state that I live in will not persue him or enforce him to pay because he receives SSI benefits. Why is the government allowing this? Why should parents getting benefits not have to take care of their responsibilities?
