I would like to see the last 5 - 3 mins of all 'news' programs on national television show images of kidnapped and missing children. As a society we have put these images on milk cartons and mini mailings but not on the news every day or even once a week. I believe if these images were on tv everyday we would do a more powerful job than milk cartons and mailings alone.

San Angelo, TX has very few sidewalks that last longer than a couple of blocks. It has even fewer bike lanes. This petition is to ask the City of San Angelo to start adding these accommodations while they are fixing the roads. We voted to keep the Sales Tax as high as it is to better our roads and our community. My Financial situation changed for the better as of January this year. I am trying to save my house that passed title on April 4th, but First County Bank refuse to work with me and have our house so overpriced per their appraiser. I had another appraiser pull more recent comps to reflect the correct value and the bank will not use those. I have four small children and we cannot move, we want our house back. On Monday, April 16, 2012, the contract between Anthem and Connecticut Children's Medical Center expired. Because contract negotiations have broken down between the two entities over the costs of services at CCMC, it appears that it may not be renewed. This affects many families in Connecticut in a very real and personal way. Consider the thousands of underprivileged children with Husky/Anthem healthcare through the State, who receive regular, preventive medical care at CCMC's Charter Oak Clinic. Consider the number of chronically ill children who require specialized care that their pediatricians cannot provide. While these two Goliaths duke it out over money, it is the young patients and their families who will pay the price.

Autism is kidnapping one in 88 children in the United States. When my child got diagnosed, in 1998, that figure was 1 in 500. Some years ago, the CDC put the number as 1 in 150. My petition is to stop the Ohio Graduation Test. Too many children are dropping out because they are not passing this test by 1%. This is causing them to result to the GED instead. Teachers are also put in a bad postion to teach only what is required for OGT test. The pressure is not only hurting the student's but the teachers as well.
