Federal, State, and local governments shall require that any permissible contributions and expenditures, for the purpose of election to public office or ballot issue be publicly disclosed. The Judiciary shall not construe the spending of money to influence elections to be speech under the First Amendment. SECTION 3. Nothing in this amendment shall be construed to abridge the freedom of the press.

Saving our United States Postal Service. Benjamin Franklin was appointed first American Postmaster General in 1775; before America was even a nation we had the benefits of a national postal delivery service. The United States Postal Service is the one government agency that touches every American on a daily basis, democracy in action. But saving the USPS is not about nostalgia, it is about the best possible future for Americans and our economy. We ask our Senators to take the advice of Google and other 21st Century entrepreneurs: Keep six day delivery, keep door-to-door delivery, and repeal the pre-funding mandate. Vote against S. 1789 as written. Save our United States Postal Service.

The Environment/Clean Air.

Insurance and other companies are now requiring people to allow them to automatically withdraw money from checking accounts. Some companies even require additonal charges if you do not allow them to automatically withdraw. We have lost control of our bank accounts. This could result in overdraft and lack of funds charges. We need laws against this!

Our survival as a prosperous nation

Funding a pre-tax health flex-fund is a gamble. If too little is set aside, there may not be funds to pay for health care. If too much is set aside, it is forfeited. Health care should not be a gamble. The solution is to make health care flex-funding freely adjustable.
