Look, the title was a joke used to get you here. Seriously though, first there was Afghanistan, then Iraq now America seems poised to war with IRAN. Peace is never given. It is not a RIGHT. We must fight for it. I realize the Irony of that statement but we must fight those who would start another bloody WAR. I’m tired of war. People, no different from you and I, die on both sides while the rich turn a profit from misery. I hear the drums of war, this time they sound for Iran. Please, I’m begging, no war.

Innovation and Creativity are listed as top skills sought by business leaders hiring across the nation. Iowa schools list many graduation requirements; yet only a handful list a fine arts requirement. Arts education courses in the visual arts, music, theatre and dance provide laboratories for these skills. We want to ask legislators to promote this addition for all Iowa graduates to prepare them to compete for top employment.

I do not like the games that are being played with redistricting. Draw straight lines and play fair. Stacking the deck is shameful. I want you to support fair play. Let the people decide who they really want to represent them. Don't support a system that excludes based on redistricting.

HB 1051 is a bill introduced on 02/10/2012, the hearing is on 3/06/2012, in Annopolis. This Bill wants to tax eveeything from Heaalth club memberships and to all labor. Including car repairs, maintenance, hair and nail salon services. This will cause great hardship on all people in the state.

Delaware will have a single payer health care bill in our legislature this spring. This system will cut medical costs so much there will be enough money to pay not just for medical, but dental, vision, long term care, prisoners, aids you name it. For profit insurance companies take millions off the top for millionaire CEO's, advertising and shareholders who contribute not a cent towards health care.

Oregon will soon be making some enormous changes to our educational system. These changes are coming at us fast. But guess what? Most of the people responsible for these changes are not educators--they are politicians, CEOs, and administrators. Redistricting for NYS Senators. The proposed redistricting plan puts the entire Town of Ossining in District 38 which consists of communities on the west side of the Hudson River while Ossining is on the east side. We are asking that Ossining be put into a New York State Senate district which is entirely in Westchester County.
